But Opie gets that polite, uncomfortable little boss-chuckle. The dynamic with Opie around is when some upper management shithead tells a joke and you sell it just so he doesn't give you bad performance evaluations and try to get you fired.
I wish I could give credit to the person who pointed out the hundreds of times Opie has avoided getting smashed for a bomb and just got that little awkward boss-chuckle.

Sort of off topic. I remember once Opie Ant & Jim were trying to get Sam to do some degrading shit that Erock has done for the show hundreds of times, and Sam said that Jess gets uncomfortable when he's asked to do stuff like that.
Jess must have cried to Linsey, who cried to Opie and Opie protected his little bitch. That was the very last time Sam was Ever asked To do anything crazy. But that little wigger bitch will be the first one to volunteer the rest of the staff for anything. I swear his office is under Opie's desk!
