With all the Opie hate, can anyone find a clip from Ron & Fez when Ronnie talks about what a great programmer Opie is?

I think it was from March or April. I usually respect Ronnie's opinion, and he was going on about what a great readeo producer/programmer Opie is.
Edit: I don't know how to spell radio.

So Ronnie basically said that Opie should be doing something other than being a radio personality?

Opie couldn't even create a Linked List.

You really separated the nerds from the geeks with this reference.

You're a dope. Maybe you don't like Opie on the radio but to completely discredit him is stupid. He was smart enough to bring both Anthony and Jimmy in. He was smart enough to change the format of the show early on. He handled a lot of the stuff off the air too when Anthony was completely clueless and just happy to be there. Even Ronnie is saying Opie is talented when it comes to programming shows but you're right you know more than Ron, Anthony, or jimmy who've all worked with Opie and all credit him for a career... But no we should listen to you right? Some dope on the Internet.

Well, you see, a Linked List is a data structure in Computer Science and I was making a programming joke.

You have to understand that Opie helped bring Ron to NYC, which is when he started really getting paid. Why would Ron ever say anything negative about Opie?

Spot on. Ronnie's always rumpswabbed the boys since getting the golden ticket.

Opie is a world class board op. He knows which buttons to push.

Doesn't this sound like a backhanded compliment? Other people like knotsam and kgt have pointed out that this is the industry euphemism for "knows his radio, but shouldn't be on a mic."

He wasn't on mike all that much till his wop partner got smacked by a chick and decided to act tough on twitter.

producer/programmer??? WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???!!!

That's radio-speak for "guy who belongs behind the scenes."

It's not a compliment to say that about the HOST of a show. And besides that. He doesn't even really program shit.

We will be back on the Ron and Jim show.
Take us to break Opie.
