This actually made me feel more sympathy for him than anything else. I feel like if he was just his genuine self on the radio more often I would like him a lot more.
ive been a fan for 6 years an opie hater for about 4. ive always thought opie was a good guy regardless, but that doesnt change the fact that he doesnt fit on this top level show. personality flaws aside he is just not very smart or even funny. his genuine self or not he cant compete with the other talent in that studio.
Yeah I definitely agree with you. He'd be way outclassed by Ant, Jim, and any of the comedian regulars no matter what. I just think that if he was more genuine he would simply be the least interesting member of the show, rather than the hate-able person he is now.
