The only way I can describe the sickly feeling I get when watching is recalling the time I watched a dog fight video on Facebook accidentally.

It's such a great character with a name so witty you can't miss what he is trying to convey, it is far more likely to bludgeon your face than go over your head. Why create a character with a name and build him up to convey the kind of person you are making fun of? That would require talent. Instead you can just put on the same stupid voice everyone does when they are trying to portray something stupid and demonstrate your mallet wit.

My favorite part of the character is the irony and self-depracation. Opie is just portraying a slightly exaggerated characterisation of his radio personality and has to be pretending that he isn't aware that he is in fact the "loves the internet guy".
