He's good friend's with Opie.

The tone of his voice the other day when Opie brought up fucking two black chicks (and then later admitted to not actually fucking them) was of complete contempt. He knew Opie was lying, but since he's loyal/knows Opie cannot handle being called out on his shit, he stayed quiet and added very little, as Nikki kept prying Opie for more details, none of which he had (couldn't remember if he went alone to a club). Opie is a lying asshole.

How do you know he wants to get off? Every indication I've seen is that he likes what this show is turning into; and for all you know, he might be eager to do a more serious show now (look how quickly he falls into Serious Jimmy mode these days, after all).

Jim has said countless times that he loves doing radio. He has never, as far as I know, said that he loves having to do comedy on the radio every morning.

Do you see the distinction?

No, he'll stay, and not just because he has to (where else is he going to go?), but because he wants to.

I have no idea what any of them are really thinking, and I doubt we will until October.

He's praying his vice show or other endeavours take off, as always. But if they don't he'll stick around if they offer him the same money.

I think he will stay as long as he gets signed on for a full contract and not some side kick bullshit... He's does all the heavy lifting now.
