I don't understand any element of Opie's obsession with viral videos. What is the end game? Even if he did manage to create a viral video, what is that going to do for him? He already has more fame from the radio show than any video could ever make him, same goes for money. It's just such a weird thing to pursue.
This is the same guy who when the show was forced off the air he went on tour with Jimmy asking the comedians if any of the fans remembered him. He has....issues.....and he shields it with his loud mouth and arrogance.
There are people who have a viral video or two - usually on accident - and there are people who work super hard to have youtube followings and I think Opie doesn't understand the difference.
I think - could be wrong so he can read this in the twitter voice/conjecture/copy paste voice - he wants to be a YT celeb which requires a LOT of work and has very little to do with "virality" and is just about grinding out content that 12 year olds want to stare at every day.
Because with the radio show, everybody thinks Opie is the third banana at best on his own fucking radio show named after him. They think Ant, Jim, guests, producers and interns are funny and he's just a lucky ass board operator.
If he ever had a viral video, that would be 110 percent certified Opster Success without anybody else taking credit and glory from him.
They probably work for free. Those sort of pretentious dotcom companies in England follow the american model of not paying people for their time "internship".

What an asshole Opie has made of himself!

Again! I hope his in-laws aren't reading this!

You'd think a company focused on viral videos would have more than 1600 likes on facebook.

They're just staying subtle because they know they've recruited the King of YouTube, OpieRadio.

I'd rather meet Joseph Kony's child army.

Ever done just one line of coke? It's never just one. I think fame works sort of like that

Same reason Jimmy needs photos taken with celebrities despite being one himself. Radio guys and comedians are usually weird people with odd quirks.

Here's the thing, doesn't he have the one video of Homeless Mustard that did really really well? So, at least one video went "viral" already I think.
3 humblebrag 2014-08-18
That didn't really go 'viral' it remained steadily popular over time. It's a radio head cover, of course it'll get hits.
6 ExactlyUnlikeTea 2014-08-18
I guess that's true.
Plus, he didn't actually create any content, just filmed it.

If I've ever seen a typical bunch of london cunts. Fucking dotcom career wankers.
4 balderoonus 2014-08-18
How dare you, london is a multicultural paradise
8 cc1945 2014-08-18
The worst part is Opie really thinks he's a talented youtube star and that this will be his new career after the show.
5 TheActor_GreggHughes 2014-08-18
I'd been more impressed if he put on a good radio show. He just wants to do what the kids are doing.
7 Moowon 2014-08-18
That seems like a fuckload of people to "harness the power of viral content." What the fuck do they all do?

Watch a client video. Reload page. Repeat.

"Harness the power" Who the fuck do they think they are, Nikola Tesla or HAARP or some shit?

Hya, shah, well if you don't think VIRAL SPIRAL had something to do with the Towers, then, (more haughty laughter), be my guest...

Tony Robbins.

Agreed. Seems like the type that throat fucks a whole boat load of dudes. Mascara running down her face, etc.
6 Dannyprecise 2014-08-18
Opie is delusional. He has no filmmaking skills.
3 TheActor_GreggHughes 2014-08-18
Has anyone tweeted @viral_spiral yet and asked them why they pay for Opie's shitty videos?
3 Alienmonkey 2014-08-18
By following this link are we not falling into the trap of supporting these shenanigans?
Fortunately there's one simple trick to not sending page views - x post from /r/usefulwebsites.
And volia viralspiralgroup.com/team.

Nerd Founder/CEO who thinks he's Mr. Cool and wants to surround himself with attractive young women to potentially bang.

Do they only hire people with small faces and big heads?
2 Dre013 2014-08-18
I'd put a gooey viral load on Ms. Bergqvist's face.
