Its amazing how a retired cop is a more competent producer, doing almost everything by himself, than the four "trained industry professionals" working behind the scenes at Sirius XM.

Although if you really want to get into it, O&A used to have AMAZNG production back in the day, but has had lousy production since Steve C was fired.

I was the best producer of all time. Yeeeeeeeesssssss boooooooooooo!!!!

The best producer they ever had was Stuntbrain.

Yea man, and it's all been downhill since WAAF, Whip 'em out, bro!

They also had Than and a bunch of other people working for them. They also had Black Earl at one point. As far as producing...what's to produce? It's not like they're doing bits, or have anything planned.

And, to be a Devil's Advocate, this is a show that refused to do show prep, have show meetings, and flew by the seat of their pants every day, and bolted out the door at 11 every morning to avoid their bosses.

I agree with you, I think the show lost a lot when they lost Steve. I've said that many, many, many times, despite the shit here I get for it. The show has been downhill since they lost the management of Steve and Stuntbrain. Erock could have stepped up, but he's hiding now, and all they were left with were the glorified gofers in the studio, since Sirius wouldn't replace Steve.

People give Steve a lot of shit, and a LOT of it was deserved, like the Foundry bullshit, and that he blew up his own spot at Sirius - but like Gary on Howard, they shit on him constantly, but Gary is the reason the show runs right, and Steve filled the same role. Hate Gary all you want, but that guy has busted his ass many lifetimes over for Howard, and Steve was the same.

yeah, when they let Steve go it was a mistake - and no matter how they spun it they wanted him gone

Why not ask uncensored Cumia about Steve C. Did they all truly hate him, was he actually fired or just squeezed between the sides as the claim goes, how much strain did buying back their videos put on Opie and his desire to be famous. Also, why was he so good at improv compared to the rest of the staff.

All i could think of when Opie was saying that he once thought suicide was a cowards way out... And that he had one person that went out that way... Was Steve

It's too bad they just don't talk about it... But I guess that's what his wife wanted

Remember ant didn't even go to the service? Geeze Ant. Man up for once.

The dude is a genuine sack of shit.

In the same discussion I believe Jimmy went something like "it's no different if it's someone like robin or like you know someone at work" and Steve popped into my head immediately

Ant has been doing LFTC for years and has run his own internet channel in various stages of drunkenness the entire time. He still has to tell KtC what to do, even as far as doing it himself during the ACS. Lets pump the brakes here, Keith is no radio professional.

I downvoted this 'cause I hate your face. Fuck fletcher!

Did Steve C really commit suicide? I thought it was complications from weight loss surgery

No one from the show or family/friends online ever confirmed it was a suicide, which actually makes it likely he did. If it was from weight loss surgery then no one would have any problem saying it was from that considering he told every he had the surgery. Seems like those close to him don't Steve to have the shame and embarrassment post-life.

Someone once asked on this subreddit why Sam and co. can never seem to find audio/video clips in a timely fashion. Sam then came on the subreddit and said that it's because most of the time it's off the cuff. What he really meant was that the producers don't generate content regularly and most of the shit they talk about are the guys riffing and sharing their opinions of things they read on the newspaper that morning.

Here is a breakdown of what they do most of the time:

Sam: Glorified google jockey and clip player, executive producer of a show that doesn't have production?

Erock: Pushing the same 5 buttons on the board every day at identical times.

Troy: Generates audio bits/clips. When was the last time anyone's heard a good one?

Travis: Bullet points the big news headlines?

Sal: Phone Screener/googling guest sheets?

Mars: Sets up the studio the same way with the same specs every single day.

The ex cop isn't working within the bounds of a multi-million dollar corporation.

"Man that orange is better at not going to jail than black people are"

now THATS how you executive produce!

How did he even retire still looks middle aged did he shoot a nigger and and a paid pension?

You act like Steve was good. Steve was shit too. Rick was decent but family issues blew that one up. O&A have never had the greatest staff. Oh great another Steve promo. Rape and screaming women. And a shitty foundry logo on all the videos. Steve was shit.

Perfect example. They try to revive the money snatch contest. What does Steve do as the promo? Some bullshit with a woman locked in a trunk or being chopped up with a chainsaw. yeah that'll bring in the women contestants. And they brought him in and gave him shit for it. Once again Steve C was garbage.

There was very little that was very creative or unique about Steve's work. Not saying that the stuff that happened after him was great but Steve was an awful producer. He just had 20 interns and 12 associate producers at the time. Throw enough shit at a wall something will stick.

That's just delusional and anyone on the show would agree with me. He was the strangest, most recognizable, and to me the most hysterical production staffer they had. Very creative, very unique. The chainsaw thing is beyond great, I'm sorry you don't know how to appreciate the obvious fact that the joke was that it was unnecessarily macabre, even the hosts understood this. It's still funny to poke fun at him for it.

At least Steve had a distinct style, they promoted a greater discussion, and are the most memorable production pieces.

Seriously dude. Steve blew as a producer. You're thinking of Ben maybe. He was pretty good til he blew up his gig. Steve was never a good producer. That's why they even had Stuntbrain there to begin with. Because for some reason the same old shitty tortured woman in a trunk promo doesn't play well on FM radio. Steve was garbage.

You're wrong. Look at the amount of production Steve made they used. How many people got Ramoned? Steve was on the soundboard. No one has been quoted more than Steve was. And how about the Jim Norton coffee diva promo. There was so much, I miss Steve C.

Seriously dude, Steve was a hysterical producer. He was too nice as a boss and was taken advantage of by the staff that hasn't made anything funny production-wise since he left. Face it, dude. Sorry, dude. Dude.

Fucking listen to this guy. He knows his radio. Look at his name for christ's sake.

How 'bout those shwoogies Brucey?

Can we get an AMA. You can be lined up right after Vos.

Haha.

Fuck that fag

Danny Ross was amazing at production. Co fucking Caine!

Man this gimmick is awful.

Didn't he die of aids?

The dude is a genuine sack of shit.
