Just saying: Jim says: I hope he gets shot. Anthony: I hope a home boy beats her to death — Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014

Why the disparity? SiriusXM claimed that they fired Anthony for violence.

And you seriously believe that? If Anthony said those things about a white person, nobody would have raised an eyebrow. It was 100% racial.

I tend to believe the violence angle. The racial thing definitely is what got the ball rolling but they were legally protected under free speech for that. If somebody like Bobo with a gun read Ant's tweet and then shot a random black girl it could be legal problems for Ant which then could lead to legal problems with Sirius. If it wasn't a black girl nobody would have cared about any of the tweets, but since people cared Sirius had to read them and the violent tweets are what pushed it over the edge.

1:11 in... VIOLENCE! Inciting violence!
How did SiriusXM not catch this and protect us all by firing Jim Norton?
They hurt my feelings.

Hmmm, when Ope said SXM was worried about the "violence in Ant's tweets" I though he was referring to Ant mentioning he was carrying his gun at the moment.

Ant talked about it on his show and said he was told he was fired because he tweeted that he hopes a homeboy shoots his attacker in the face.
