did anyone else watch that chick make his rum and coke after he asked for it? it was fascinating. she poured a ton of rum in a glass then kept pouring. she was then pulled aside and given a coke to mix with it. I thought it was amusing.

What I miss the most is Ant making little Jimmy laugh. That dynamic. :(

I miss Patrice... Does anyone else? ;______;

I loved it when he complemented Dices wife's panties. He's definitely got some balls.

She needed da money!

Yea she was annoying at first, but then when she started to laugh along it was alright. Having some audience members to laugh is a good idea.

Yeah the only time guys like us got is just enough to sip from our container of coffee on our 15 and munch our buttered roll for lunch. Am I right or wrong boys?

[deleted]

That and a container of coffee and I'm good for the jobsite.

Have you thought about Just listening to it? It's like watching the tv on mute...but the opposite.

I'm sure Anthony will reconsider his whole business plan in light of your demands.

No. You don't.

So he needs to provide you with free entertainment, because he's got more money than you? You want him to take a pay cut because you are less fortunate (and most likely less talented) than him? I don't think you get the concept of Anthony Cumia always complaining about people being on "the dole".

I think you don't get the concept of the whole podcast thing. Most of the people you listen too have other sources of income. Most of the comedy podcasts are made by comedians who do stand-up. Doing the podcast helps build their fan base and helps sell tickets to their shows. I'm excited that I get to see Steven Brody Stevens tonight, and I only know him because of podcasts he has been on. Ant doesn't have that, and coming fresh off being fired for something so controversial has likely made it difficult for him to find advertisers. Your right he's a millionaire...he doesn't have to make any more money. But the solution for that would be to retire, and get drunk by the pool for the rest of his days.

When I was listening to the end of his first episode, he said (while he thought he was off mic) that they reached 20,000 views as of the end of the podcast. Or at least that's what I thought I heard. So he's doing alright without you. But, If that number continues to grow it is likely the cost will come down, or advertisers might start becoming interested.

If it makes you feel any better he did hint that he is thinking about releasing the paid for episodes for free after a while. But he was a bit vague on the details.

Now go ask your boss for an extra hour a month so you can afford to pay Ant for the entertainment he provides you.

Maybe I don't know what a podcast is. I know many of what I call 'podcast' have video. I don't see the problem with playing a video podcast, and just listening to it. That is what I do. It stinks that it is separate from my other podcasts but it isn't that much of a bother to open it from my web browser download it, and listen to it from a video player.

If it's not a podcast then what is it? Are you defining a podcast as something that plays on an iPod? I feel like podcast have gone beyond that format. What separates a internet show from a podcast? It seems like a matter of semantics to me.

You're right it's really not that complicated, but you're not doing a good job of explaining it. At this point I still don't understand what is preventing you from listening to it on your phone. All I hear is you saying that you can't...to which I reply- I can.

It really seemed like you were complaining about the money aspect...I guess I was wrong. I'm sure you've got talent pal.

That's good and all, but I find almost comical that you said so many words and you are 'Roland-vague' as to why it doesn't work for you. You also don't explain the difference between Ants show and a podcast. You keep saying it doesn't work for me, and its not a podcast...without ever saying why.

The other podcasts work for those people because they do comedy, and use their popularity to sell tickets. Others have enough advertisers to make it lucrative. Ant doesn't do comedy, and is currently too controversial for advertisers. How is he supposed to make money?

I'm almost 100% certain he said he had 20,000 views as of the end of his first 'show'. I hadn't even listened at that point, and I'm sure half the subscribers hadn't listened live either. That sounds like a nice chunk of change for brand new show. 20,000 viewers turns to $1.6m in a year's time. And that's just live listeners for the first show...that number should grow.

If it's not about the money, and you don't tell me why it's, I don't know what to say...other than it seems like the model works for him. Didn't think there were many people with a smart phone that are still using an old school iPod. I don't think your problem is representative of a large group.

Hope you figure things out. Heard the website changed a bit yesterday. Maybe they added a feature that helps you with your problem.

So you have no time to "watch" the show but time to be here.. Right..

then play it on your ipad and airplay it to your appletv. i watch it at my leisure on the big screen, no prob.

you can literally listen and not watch while you're banging tin. Did you realize that, sumfoo? You can not see the visual element and still hear the words coming out of Ant's mouth and experience 80% of the show.

I can't help but wonder what TV shows you watch.

[deleted]

FYI it really isnt podcast. its an interactive show where callers can call in etc. You can stream the audio only feed on any wifi device. Yet he still is planning on making an app to make it podcast like for folks just like you SO ENJOY its coming

kids suck don't they? though you have enough time to look at reddit posts and bitch about how you don't have fancy toys to view video.
