It's an excellent show. If he keeps this up, I'm going to stay subscribed. The only gripe I have is that he reminds me so much of Sam Rothstein from Casino when he brings up how he was fired at the start of every episode and throughout the episodes. We all understand, now get on with the show.

Yeah, it is tiring, but I think he needs time to cycle it out. Every new guest will probably bring it up in some way, or Anthony will bring it up to every new guest.

But as guests come back, he/they can move on and, as you say, get on with the show.

The O&A guys have always been the guys speaking their minds, guess the world calling him a racist and him getting fired and not seeing his friends any more had a slight effect on him.

I thought it was a bit sad that he called in character, most people probably just saw it as a joke, but to me it felt like maybe calling as himself would have been a bit hard or awkward, but needed a way to let Ant know there were no hard feelings

Today's format was perfect. Jay mohr call was great and guest was cool at the bar

I've had zero issues with the content. Today was the first show where it was skipping a little in the beginning for me but then after I refreshed a few times it straightened out. Love the show so far. Ant is a natural interviewing and telling stories and just doing the whole thing on his own. I dunno how this ship is staying on course...

The early XM shows had the same problem. It took them two years to "fix" it...by making all the lines so hot that it was mathematically impossible for anything to be louder than anything else.

So we have that to look forward to.

I don't think this is necessarily a big money making venture at this point, but I bet it leads to a bigger offer from someone down the line. His subscription base probably just help offset his operating costs a bit.

hes got 20-30k in subs. thats 1.7m./year at the minimum. Hes doing a lot more than just offsetting costs

Someone with the show said they have "tens of thousands of subs". That imply s at least 20k. I personally think its around 30k based on the live view counter on each show, but whatever, lets go with the minimum.

$7 per month is 1.7 m per year based on 20,000 subs.

Now to your point. Im assuming to are saying that most people wouldnt resub after the first month. From my experience I think they will and he will add more subs along the way. I bought a one month just to check it out. I didnt think I would re sub. I will. The show is better/funnier/has a lot more potential than I thought. And this is coming from someone who hasnt paid for online entertainment since 2002.

I'm a little behind, only full show I managed to catch was the premier, just wondering what way of listening people prefer, I don't mind watching the video, but for like today's show for instance, would it be better to watch the video, cause if it's not crucial at any point i'll just use the audio feed so i can still use my phone

I'm loving the video version. I wouldn't say it's crucial, but things make more sense when you can see what he sees, or the actions he makes when doing certain things. I can't see listening to the audio version unless I absolutely can't watch video at the time.

I think he said on Monday, he will be showing and commenting on some YouTube videos. The video may be crucial for that one unless you want to be searching around for those he has cued up.

I was annoyed at the framing of the first couple shows. He looked so small! Looks so much better now, much more professional. The move to the bar looked awesome too. He definitely needs someone to run the tech stuff while he's doing the show - that would make it much smoother. Liking it!

Liked it a lot today, and it's getting better show by show. Minor gripes I have are volume issues, and lack of someone more "liberal" in the political/social discussions. But someone funny like Jimmy, not some liberal shill fuck. Just could use a little more balance. I know these things will be addressed soon, I'm not worried. Glad I'm subbed.

Its funny how when gavin mccines is describing what a racist is (and many consider him one) hes basically describing anthony. Anthony thinks that black people have characteristics that are universal in the black community that for the most part he thinks they cant overcome (with exceptions) and beleives in eugenics (or certainly has talked about it a lot and beleives some of the points)

anthony tries to elaborate while gavin is describing his term of a racist (which i agree with) and says "yea and you put them there and us here" and gavin goes "no thats a whole other level" so anthony drew his line at seperation but gavin was saying no its before that and was basically saying your a racist if you beleive what ant beleives (without knowing that ant believes in that.

I like gavin good interview, i just thought that was kind of funny, i dont think many of us are in denial about ant being a racist, but its just kinda funny that he is still so in denial about it and the guy many consider to be kind of out there on the race issue (gavin) really isnt even that out there compared to some of ants views.
