Yeah, I really enjoyed yesterday's show but after a while it became a bit like a right wing propaganda presentation. His politics/racial opinions were fine on O&A because other people wouldn't let him get away with outrageous statements, but now it's just an echo chamber.

I wouldn't call that a "need." Most people aren't unhealthily obsessed with other people's ideologies and don't let politics dominate whether or not they enjoy something.

Or someone that no one likes who is paid to represent the opposite side, like what Colmes did for Hannity.

I've been thinking about him more since Ant got fired. Especially because of the circumstances of his firing. Fuck. I really wish he took better care of himself.

I had "Mr. P" on the other day and I was remembering how cool he was to me as a comedian and the amount of advice he gave me about the business. Yeah, he didn't take any shit from anyone in the business, but he knew how to pay the game, he just did it his way.

Personally I absolutely love the visual element. I love seeing Ant's reaction to things after years of only hearing it. It might just be the novelty of it because it's new, but I always loved seeing video clips of stuff that happened on the show and the video element of the first O&J show too.

EDIT: Plus, without the visual element, I wouldn't have been able to laugh my ass off at what was possibly the most poorly made captain and coke in human history.

Watching that girl get increasingly bored as she stood there for 2 hours was the best part of that show.

I've been happy with it so far. I would like to see some more "friends of the show" comedians come on as guests. Maybe Ant hasn't asked them yet while he gets used to doing the show. I know he won't get somebody like Louie but Vos and Bobby shouldn't have a problem being a guest.

I think that it is finding its shoes. It flows alot better than the Opie and Jimmy show has been. I hope they get back together in oct. and rebuild their brand, otherwise Im Anthony Cumia Show all the way.

Yeah, it does feel a tad uncomfortable to watch when Ant makes goofy faces and awkward flailing arm movements while doing his otherwise hilarious voices.

Does he still look above the camera? I've only seen the first epsiodes and found it really distracting. Looked like he needed an Interrotron setup where images are projected onto a TelePrompTer screen.

I personally don't actually watch Anthony at all, because I've not lost a war or done anything wrong enough to deserve that.

I also don't give a crap about the video as far as day to day viewership goes. Although it will absolutely be great to look back upon crazy shit when it happens, and it will, so I am glad he's doing it even if it doesn't generally interest me.

I like the show a lot more when he's with a guest. He should also go to a "Larry King Style" table when he has guests on. The Dice interview worked when they were both at the table, but having that reporter on and both looking at the camera instead of each other didn't.

I agree I think he should do a casting call unless you're doing sports or political talk its hard to do a show by yourself he needs someone to set him up like Pepper Hicks sets up Ron Bennington but overall I think the show is great and I'm excited to see more.

He definitely needs a side kick. I specifically didn't say co-host, because he doesn't need someone to share 50% of the show with. He just needs someone to bounce things off and fill in gaps and change atmosphere. Nick Diapolo as the straight man sidekick would be great.

They are similar politically, but Dipaolo seems less controversial. For example they were talking about Niggermania.com on O&A a few months ago and Anthony said he loves sites like that, and he finds them funny. Dipaolo said he doesn't like sites like that. Dipaolo is also an expereinced radio host so he would be great as a side kick. He's also one of the best comedians and would help keep things funny and light.

Anthony is hilarious, but also has rants where there is little to no humor. Dipaolo would add to those rants a lot. Their banter is amazing too.

Anthony doesn't have to pay a co-host 50%, why would he do that unless that co-host would bring in more subscriptions(like possibly Opie & Jim would).

Personally if Opie and Jimmy continue on SiriusXM I'd like to see Sean Bergin and Scorch join up with Anthony.

This is a serious question: Is there anything Ant will do that you people wont like? I love O&A and I have for some time, but so far Ant's show has been anything but stellar. I watched the first live and learned that I can't watch his show live because there are stretches of boredom I can't deal with. Then, I watched the replay of the dice show. There were so many cringe moments I almost had to shut it off. I admit the girl behind the bar was worth the air time. All he did was do Dice impressions, to Dice.... if I were Dice I'd tell him to stop fucking impersonating myself to me. And then he had Dice's weird uncomfortable kids just sit there and look stupid. And then, once he was good and liquored up, he jumped in the pool and yelled some more. Is this really quality entertainment to you guys? I'm seriously questioning what you guys do other than fuck stuffed animals through the crotch hole in your filthy depends and drool to anything Anthony or Jim does... oh and curse Opie, can't forget that.

I totally agree , this isnt quality entertainment i especially question the people that sit at home in from of their tv and computers and watch it, if you listen to it in your car i get that (although its a huge hassle) but to sit and watch this drivel when we are in a golden age of television and there is a million good shows to watch is mind boggling.

I hope he figures it out, he needs to treat it more like a radio show to be honest and start explaining visual elements so that people can treat it as such. Ant is not a visual talent hes an audio talent.

Yesterday was a cool new thing Ant did conducting a pool side interview and today (I am listening now) is the closest we have got back to the old O&A show.

The O&J show has been pretty damn solid. I've thoroughly enjoyed almost every episode. And the guys have been on top of their shit and making sure they have a third and even fourth mic for every single show since they came back. I still love the show. The only thing that sucks is how often I think to myself "Oh man I wish Ant was here right now" Even though I really enjoy having Florentine on (even more then Soder) and he's been the most frequent third mic so far

They have had someone come on every single day. Solder, florentine, Vos, Bennington, bobby Kelly, Chris distefano, slayton, even Todd Barry made his debut today. Some of those guys I like much better than others, but my point is they have and will indeed keep bringing guys in. So with that said, the show has been fine. Still highly entertaining. Haven't heard ants show yet but there's no way that 2014 racist, political ant by himself (with his boring brother and crew of glad handing leeches) can compare. And this is coming from someone who fully appreciates and understands the genius of Anthony.
