Having trouble locating a particular break: Discussing and reviewing female comedians' sets

0  2014-07-26 by [deleted]

I'm trying to locate the audio from when they discussed (and mocked) female comedians. There was a particular one at the end who was goofy looking and they actually didn't mind her jokes. I believe Patrice O'Neal was in studio.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Patrice and Kurt Metzger in studio

Is that the one where they talk about that really pretty stand up girl?

They talk about the deaf comedian doing "hack" deaf jokes, there's the goofy looking one with a bad voice, and a couple others.

Oh yeah the one where Ant does the dead voice?

I was tempted to just give you a link to the Philly Crew video but I think people buried that joke. I was actually just listening to the full show where they talking about comediennes, and yeah Patrice was in. Here you go.

Can someone explain to me what the hell the Philly Crew is and what the hell that was all about?

It was about Opie having douchy friends. There isn't much else to say.

I haven't listened to the show at all this year, so I literally have no idea what the Philly Crew is or how it relates to that video that was everywhere here a few weeks ago.

Opie has a group of friends from Philly he calls the Philly Crew. They're all at least a decade younger than him and are extremely douchy. He would mention them on air sometimes like a fratboy would, as if they were really cool people like "Yeah, me and the phillies we're hanging out on the weekend yo." I don't know how he knows them or much about them, they're just clearly so nerdy. That video he posted of them is from 2010 though, this hasn't just started this year.
