Very happy right now after an exceptional week of O&A related ventures. Ant seems as excited as all of us about his upcoming venture and it showed with him treating us to 2 test broadcasts! I think its fair to say Jimmy exceeded our expectations with the debut of his talk show. Although the production quality and set need a little work, his monologue was both edgy and honest. The interview ran a little long but showed that Jimmy is good at interjecting with his own thoughts and experiences as opposed to the Fallon/Leno approach of just setting up guests with pre-interview questions. Finally, Opie has made me proud to be a listener over the past two weeks. He has made the best of the situation by calling in just about every friend of the show. His Stern rant was uplifting and reminded me why he is a radio rockstar/legend.
