Thoughts about Anthony's podcast price?

I love Anthony, but for a video podcast I can't listen to in my car, I can't watch on any media device besides a tablet or computer (not on TV) seems a bit much. $7 a month for one show with limited access is a bit steep.

You didn't see the 3 thousand tweets about it also being available in audio form I guess

Nope. No I did not.

Oh for the love of fuck...

If you like Anthony, subscribe.

If you don't like him, don't subscribe.

If you like Anthony but don't like the price... skip your daily trip to McDonalds or Starbucks once a month. Skip a pack of cigarettes and you can subscribe for two months (if you live in NY anyway). I'm really sad for America's future when my generation and the one right behind it thinks everything should be free. The same people who think they shouldn't have to work but get a 6 figure job right out of college. (Opie voice) FFFFFFuucck!

Or just go ahead and start another thread about the same thing.

There are worse/faster ways to blow $60/yr. And, assuming he goes at least the year, the $$/hour would surpass even a lengthy video game, like Skyrim.

Can't you airplay or have a computer -> HDMI to your TV?

All good points. Sold me.

Um, he said it'd work on mobile devices too. If it didn't, he wouldn't sell a lot of subs since most people that listen to him did so via car or other mobile places. Unless he backpeddaled on that and I didn't see :)

Thank god someone posted about this again. Are there mods here?

Sssssh, they're everywhere...they can see you.

It's free if you steal it

Who still uses a TV for broadcast TV? It's a big monitor for a cheap networked device. Scheduled TV stinks, and unskippable TV adverts are intolerable.

Who watches live video as they drive their car? Not many people, but if you mean listen to audio coming from a mobile device plugged into your car, then you simply download the mp3 version of the show and listen to that wherever you are or are going. Scheduled radio stinks, and trapped in a car with unskippable radio ads is intolerable.
