i used to love louis but he's really turning into a celebrity cunt now that his success has taken hold. Everyone loved him because of his self deprecation and promotion of 'i'm just another shitty human being.' That's what made his stuff so funny, he was never afraid to point out and laugh at all his shitty qualities.
Now, he wants to be taken seriously, and thinks that he has a pedestal to make political arguments. His comedy has suffered drastically, his show is artsy bullshit with maybe 1 laugh per episode, and he really has developed an arrogance that makes him another unlikable celebrity.
In other words, no chance he'd do this show again in any way other than to promote his next shitty artistic endeavor.
Anybody remember when Op complained that Louie stopped coming in after his FX show took off? Then everytime Louie came in, the Opster acted like such a fan boy.
I'm sure they did and he would. Louie always steps up for da show in tough times. When Patrice died Louie came in the next day, and he was arguably more famous then he is now then.
80s and 90s Stern was better when he just asked about lesbianism and bowel movements. Now he thinks he is Charlie Rose. Listen to him attempt to seriously interview Richard Simmons now. The guy he tortured and goofed on for 30 years. Stern sucks.

Just hope if he does they wont just try to interview him like a celebrity for 3 hours straight.

Seriously do we even want him to do it? 99% chance they just suck his dick all show.

The interviewing with Louis is always a letdown. I fell in love with the show when Louis would just comment on the stories with the guys.

To be fair to the b-b-b-boys, he did just become a celebrity about 3 hours ago.

Doesn't Louis spend his summers on his boat?

From 2011 to now, Louie has become less famous with time?
Wha?
-2 Motorboat_Jones 2014-07-23
Season 4 of "Louie" may be the cause for some of that. However, he is becoming a movie star now.

Movie star?

Blue Jasmine, American Hustle, and I think he has a role in the Angriest Man in Brooklyn.

It seems legit. Certainly a huge part of his fanbase has moved on since then, he got a lot of faggy little teens-to-twenties fans now.

Stern is an annoying dude, but I have to admit that when it comes to interviews, nobody does it better
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJaTZssPTsA
He revealed more about Louie in an hourlong interview than I've learned about him in years of appearances on O&A

Stern's interviewing skills are overrated; he's just a nosy old cunt who tries to inflict his pseudo-psychology on the people he interviews.
He's a vampire-ghoul looking for the pain and misery in peoples' lives, so he can say "oh, he's fucked up, too!".
When you're going down that road, it's inevitable that, over the course of an hour, some interesting tidbits come out, but where are the laughs?
Nowhere, that's where.
I'd rather have some laughs than learn that Louie doesn't talk to his dad.

Agreed. I think Maron and Stern are probably the two best interviewers in the business.

Why are you posting here about Stern?
