Kevin Pollack is a good egg! He actually called himself "a real fan of the show"... and was defending ant

Kevin asked why Erock is called slobbo when Roland is much fatter. He's a good interviewer.

Whoa wait the fuck up.

This guy is asking the questions we've all wanted to ask since forever - why are Rolando and Sam aloud to speak on the radio???

Accurately describing to Jimmy the cartoonishly over-fed out of touch psychopath that is the common man's view of Roland, and the subconscious reflex that my hands make on the radio when they hear Sam's voice.

This guy is my new fucking hero.

His girlfriend is a really big fan- I guarantee she gave him a few of the O&A questions. Wouldn't be surprised if she popped in here from time to time either

He sure is asking the questions a fan would ask.

Norton wasn't giving Pollack an inch on the Roland hate. He extinguished it instantly, when you can tell Kevin wanted to (good-naturedly) dig in. Guess he doesn't want to lose any potential celebrity photos.

Would anyone disagree that based on their body of work, Kevin Pollak is the most famous actual friend of the show ever?

His filmography includes (earliest to most recent): Willow, L.A. Story, Another You, A Few Good Men, Wayne's World 2, Grumpy Old Men, The Usual Suspects, Canadian Bacon, Casino, Grumpier Old Men, That Thing You Do, From the Earth to the Moon, End of Days, The Whole Nine Yards, The Wedding Planner, The Whole Ten Yards, The Aristocrats, Cop Out, and Red State

While Ricky Gervais might be the most famous friend of the show now, Kevin Pollak's been in some of the greatest films ever and Juwanna Mann.

Don't think it's even up for discussion. And I love how he gave Sam, Roland and Vos a good beating

I love any paragraph that ends that way.

Pollak is also a real, deep fan

I think Seth Rogan has mentioned a call couple times he listens to the show, but Pollack definitely seems like the more hardcore fan.

I would say his work is most established. He's been in a lot of movies that will be remembered for a long time. People like Ricky Gervais and Louis CK are hugely famous but we still don't know how they'll be remembered in the future. Fame can be very fleeting so my use of the word "established" seems fitting. I remember when Dane Cook was on top of the world and then all of a sudden it just went away. "The Usual Suspects" and some of Pollock's other movies are not going away.

You forgot to mention that he was actually killed off in "The Whole Nine Yards" and they brought him back for the sequel anyway.

  • stood up for Erock
  • shit all over Roland
  • shit all over Sam

Kevin is a man after my own heart.

I WAS SOOOO HAPPY

The most famous listener, Mr. Kevin Pollak, shares the same anger as the so-called "whiny, loser" fans

I loved his going to the gym and eating better reference. I am now a fan.

Yeah that's a wtf moment, you realise a star like Pollack is a legit fan and knows the right references to throw out. He just goes higher in my estimation, having already loved a lot of his movies.

Still weird to think that this Hollywood-Guy is actually a Hardcore-Fan ....

and btw: he thinks sam should be "put down"!

I think the rest of the thread should be you responding to your own posts

i think i don't like you!

I wish you hadn't deleted your name from these posts. I would have supported you wholeheartedly.

I find it amusing when people delete accounts. This person had no real reason to. Some people are born thick-skinned, others with only a transparent film to cover their feelings

I love the way he destroyed Sam! I pray Mr. & Mrs. Roberts hear Kevin's thoughts about their lil Sammy.

He was brutal to Vos, holy shit

I agree with Kevin.

Sam does need to be put down.

Kevin is fucking hilarious and you can tell he listens to O&A in his free time, Meanwhile Jim is saying he didn't shave his head for months because he wanted to give the Uncle Paul character credibility. Fucking embarrassing.

Why's that embarrassing? I like his dedication to the joke

I guess I missed the set up. How is Jimmy growing his hair even related to Uncle Paul? Every poorly doctored image I see of the supposed fellow depicts him as being bald.

He needs some new jeans to go with that haircut.

His late 90's Levi's are being outclassed by a man in a fedora.

I love Kevin's podcast, i was a listener before he started going on the show and everything - he's a GREAT interviewer, I just wish he'd drop the twitter game, or find something new. He's done interviews with people I thought would be boring, that ended up fascinating, like the guy who played Al on Married With Children. The Alan Arkin one is probably one of the best, along with Ivan Reitman and Tom Hanks and a bunch of others. I wish he'd been able to get Harold Ramis before he died.

Married with Children was an awesome show and I don't see why you would think Al Bundy was boring. He probably has a million good stories.

He's a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt.

He really does need to drop "who tweeted". Other than that, I do love his podcast.

I like the rapid fire "tweet 5" game where he asks 5 questions from Twitter and supposed to be quick answers...I dislike the who tweeted game especially when the "tweeters" aren't a -list people so Jim didn't even know 2 of them....but his answers were great and actually laughed out loud when he first said Tom thanks as chip

I enjoy kpcs and can't wait for bill haiders in upcoming week

I can't wait to watch this. I met him last Sunday & had my Slobbo shirt on, got a great pic with him. Im such a huge fan of his, he's the best impressionist I've ever hoid. Did anyone read his book, How I Slept My Way To The Middle? It was fucking great. I would love to shoot a recreation of the scene in the beginning where he meets De Niro at the Beverly Hilton, it's so goddamn funny/awkward.

Always just considered him a bit player and never took him seriously. Now that I have some respect for him I suppose it's time to give him a fair shot.

I literally LOL'D when he asked Jimmy how many "S's" he puts in his extended "SsssstIIIINKS!" What a funny, random thing to pick up on.

Jim's last appearance from when he was promoting American Degenerate is also worth checking out if you haven't seen it. Kevin really is a great host.

I got douche chills when I heard Norton was going to be on Kevin Pollack's podcast, because I thought he only did that "Talkin' Walken" thing, and I thought he'd be interviewing Jim and talking about Ant in character as Christopher Walken.

He's done 200+ episodes of his Chat Show, and 25 episodes of the Walken podcast. The last time he did the Walken podcast was almost a year ago.

I like Kevin Pollack a lot and liked this interview and other episodes I've watched. He's a real dude. I do find it funny tho he kind of starts talking like James Lipton a little bit when he makes points.

Lets just make Kevin Pollack third mic until october. Because at this point why the fuck not?

I respect KP. I think he and the show are great for the most part & I love some of the questions he asks that mostly nobody else has/would. However, I do have one small grievance about his interviews: occasionally he won't let his guests get a full thought out. There have been times where he will ask a question and his guest wont even be halfway through answering and he'll blurt out some comment or even a new question entirely. Sometimes it isn't too bad while other times I have had to tap out early because of it.

the second kevin's co-host opened his mouth i hated him.

Who, Jimmy?

no, that weird wop with the smallass face.

I'll let it slide considering he was in Undeclared and Inglorious Bastards.

ummmmm...FREAKS AND GEEKS. sam does a few of the interviews on there by himself and he's really good.
