Remembering Ant.

There's no energy to the show anymore.
Back in the day when Ant was in the chair he would spontaneously start talking about something that happened over the weekend and you would have a good first hour.When Ant's story had run it's course Opie would throw Ant and Jim a bone and we would get another couple of hours.
Now, Opie is bringing back bits that were done 6 months ago.If i want to hear about 90 day wife and Weird Al i will listen to the originals.. when Ant was goofing on them.
I know Op keeps telling us that he "knows how to do this",but i don't think he does.

Let's be honest. Last few months since Sabean threw the cake had been shit. He's gone, remaining show has been reinvigorated. Hope Ant does the same.

Last week was one of the best week of shows they've ever had, and it sounds like they're headed back to having comics on on a consistent basis, which has always made for the best radio. They had one off day today.
If you can't enjoy the show without Anthony you should probably stop listening.

It's not like the show is dead to me. It's just gone from an every day routine to just checking out bits that I feel I might enjoy, or are getting good buzz, or feature the regular crowd of stand ups. You might think I'm being hasty since it's only been one bad show, but honestly it has been this way for a few months even with Ant there. I want to see what he can do on his own.
