I watched Fargo on FX mostly because of Ant's endorsement of it. I hated the finale. What did you guys think?

I was really bummed by the final episode. I felt like it was building up to a conclusion, and they left everything hanging, or at least totally unsatisfied. It seemed like it ended in the middle of the 3rd act or something. I'll say most of the characters were interesting & well acted; the guy that played Lester was amazing, holy shit. But otherwise most of the series was so over the top & ridiculous, it kept me at arm's length and I couldn't get into it as much as I would have liked. What did you guys think?

Im deleting this thread, I totally fucked up. It turns out the dude that gave me the series on a zip drive is MISSING the last 3 episodes. Im a fucking idiot :(

I would sympathize, but how could you not know, when you saw there were seven episodes on the zip (?!?) drive?

What show has ever had seven episodes in a season?

Why would there ever be a chair in the hallway?

I'm so glad this happened to you on here of all places.

Wrong and embarrassed, with the ending ruined.

Well it's not ruined, I haven't seen it yet and I don't know how it ends, so Im still good. The first part though, yes. Yes indeed.

It's a rad show. Ron Bennington got me into watching it.

What did they leave hanging? Malvo and Lester dead. Molly and Colin Hanks married. I liked it

Wait, did I miss an episode? I had 7 episodes, and the last one I saw was Lester at a Casino after winning Salesmen Of The Year, where he sees(?) Malvo entertaining a table full of people. Neither of them were dead? Someone gave me a zip drive full of episodes, if there's one after this I'll certainly feel steeped in folly.

It was better than the True Detective finale.

Yes, it certainly did. Even if it wraps up perfectly, this still really bothered me the entire time. The characters were basically magic people.
