I love the idea and the enthusiasm, but did this make a dent? I mean to be fair there was an ENORMOUS crowd of Howard fans on his last day at k-rock. It's hard to get a sense of how many pests showed up from this video. I could see how this would look like a 50-person retard section amidst a sea of adoring fans.
DISCLOSURE: I was a stern fan from the mid-90's until artie left and the show became completely unlistenable. Then I found O&A on YouTube about a year ago and I haven't looked back since.
I think at best it gave Opie & Anthony some publicity - they interviewed some of these guys and they made it into some news stories. At worst, it gave Stern fans a reason to hate Opie & Anthony and completely turned people off to the show.
I like how the signs were created by xm and have a giant logo on the back. it's like a group of fatsos was tricked into holding billboards to promote a corporation MAAAAN!!

It's so weird seeing an old O&A clip without "foundrymusic.com" plastered on the bottom.

I feel sorry for any new fans of the show who don't understand how awesome this is.

It isn't and it wasn't. It's embarassing and doesn't achieve anything.

I'm sorry we can't all be as cool of a guy as you. This type of shit was great in 2007 (not today), I think you're totally wrong.

Seems like a reasonable assessment. Do you know what the turnout was?
