Hypothetical choice between the B-B-B-oys

Im curious as to which one of the trifecta you gentleman feel can provide more quality, consistent, and enjoyable content solo.

So if each of them had a solo program (any platform-tv, online etc) that they had full control over, and they are at their best at it, and you can only chose one, who would you subscribe to?

I would fuck Anthony, marry Opie, and kill Jim ... wait, what was the question?

but Jim knows his way around a cock

sounds about right

Well I definitely wouldn't fuck Jim unless I was okay with my dick falling off.

Opie would give you a show of quality and consistency. You may not enjoy it every day but it would be there.

That's good, because the last thing I want is something I'd enjoy.

Anthony.

Stop bombarding us with details.

He's the most solely entertaining out of the 3 and has a very care-free attitude with all the guests, he doesn't even make fun of Rich when Jimmy & Opie are out. It's more honest and relaxed with him as the main host, so he gets my vote.

That a question I've thought about a lot, and I can't answer it just like I couldn't say if I'd prefer Laurel over Hardy or Abbot over Costello. What has made these guys funny is the fact that they were a good team. It's very difficult to be able to anticipate what they would do, except for the obvious things that others have already mentioned, if they were really trying to make it on their own.

For example, we think we've gotten a taste of what Ant will do on his new show from seeing his LFTC podcast, but he was only doing that as a hobby and a place to vent. It's hard to imagine what he will do now that he has to rely on it for a living. I'm guessing he'll try harder to appeal to a wider audience, but I don't know.

I don't think any of them could sustain a show on their own. They'll need to have lots of guests to keep things from being monotonous.

"Here's the thing about Amos and Andy..... Loved Amos, hated Andy."

Anthony's got the highest upside, but the downside is brutal.

But it's still nothing compared to the soul-crushing depths of douche-baggery that would be "The Opie Hughes Experience".

You'd probably need a shower and a bad-touch puppet after each Jimmy show.

The answer is clearly "Anthony".

Opie. I'd go insane with all the Racism and Right Wing talk from Anthony and Jimmy probably wouldn't know wtf to do with himself after a few minutes and just start telling a bunch of Tranny jokes.

I agree. Opie may not be the funniest but he knows radio. I like Jimmy on air but his stand-up doesn't do it for me. Ant is funny but it's his POV or nothing.

Opie. I'm still a radio guy at heart. So I relate to him more.

I think Jim, because him and all the comics he brought in are what got me into the show initially. Also, if they stuck to the audio only format and did podcasts, I would pick Jim hands down due to the likelihood of better guests

If Jim had a podcast, every other guest would be a tranny.

Douchy boredom vs tranny interviews vs conservative racism

Hmmm...

Ill toss my vote for Anthony. I lean slightly towards his politics and enjoy his rants because in general there is a large dose of funny tossed in. I dont think he has learned yet how to control the flow of a show yet (ie LFTC) and he is at his best when he has someone to challenge him. My hope is now that he is doing his show professionally he will step it up. Nobody can beat his quick wit on random topics though.

Jim is super funny off the cuff, but any other project he is involved in seems too forced (standup). Sorry Jim. But he is great on quick one liners. 1 of the best.

Opie. sigh. He has his merits. I dont dislike the guy, but he can do his job off air. He also seems to force things too much, but in an aggressive way unlike Jim. Steering the ship as he likes to say, should be limited to a producer/manager type of position. He doesn't offer anything more than that in terms of talent.

My 2 cents.

I love Jim but he always needs somebody else to riff with. Even with his on-air program, he needs callers to call in and he'll make silly remarks when he's not trying to give pedantic advice.

Anthony is probably the best on his own. I think he'd be the best at taking current events and making material out of it. Even watching TV with him during the hoarders episode of LFTC was fun.

I agree.

Make that 4 cents.

ANTHONY HANDS DOWN. opie has no fucking charisma at all and he has a reliance on everyone around him

Public access TV.

anthony childhood stories are amazingly funny, well told, and charming. opie stories are fucking annoying, bitchy, and filled with passive aggressiveness and 'dont go there' type talk.

Anthony. He has numerous interests, has a great sense of humor, and loves to drink and play with guns. Opie would be kids stories and comments about sunset pics. Jimmy is funny, but would struggle solo.

That's good, because the last thing I want is something I'd enjoy.
