The original promo was included so people could see what I changed. Obviously, it worked for some people since there is positive feedback and upvoting alongside the negative comments and downvoting. The whole point of doing this was that I liked the joke but felt that the execution could be improved by editing it differently.

I thought it would be fun to take a shot at re-editing it. I also thought others would like discussing the changes I made regardless if they agreed with them or not. I guess I was too optimistic. It's pretty sad how many people are incapable of discussing or debating something and would rather just toss empty negativity at the person who did it.

The original reveal of the kitty litter is gone as is the meow from Beavis. I thought the Beavis reveal should occur before the kitty litter reveal. I felt it gave more effect to the punchline that the reason Ant was down on one knee was to scoop through the kitty litter. The meow sounded friendly and I wanted Beavis to be domineering so I took that out.

In the recut, Ant doesn't get to finish talking. Beavis cuts him off with a vaguely threatening noise. This establishes that Beavis calls the shots, not Ant. It also makes it appear as if Beavis is non-verbally telling him to get back to work (scooping).

The shot of Ant staring in Beavis' direction and then turning to the audience is cut in half with a shot of Beavis in between the two-halves. This makes it look like there's tension and a little bit of a power struggle going on. The first shot of Ant staring in Beavis' direction now makes it seem like he's silently asking Beavis, "Are you really going to embarrass me in front of these people?"
