I think it'd be great if a new regular caller was "Tony from Long Island" spouting all sorts of crazy observations. Everyone knows it's Anthony, but no one admits it.
Eh, all on board with Tony Danza. I fucking hate Dice. One of the most overrated comedians of all time. I'm sure most of you disagree with me and I'll get my fair share of down votes for stating my opinion, but that's OK. I still love most of you.
this clip says 1997. also i agree with this BRUTAL_ANAL_RAPE8888 guy. theres a reason people upload tons of jimmy and ant clips to youtube, and rarely opie clips
edit: stern and dice are really brutal to each other in this clip, and in part 2 at 4:30 is when he mentions the elvis dancing thing
i hate dice, but i love gilbert gottfried and ants impressions of him. i assume that older comics and people in the industry hate dice (hes like the carlos mencia of their generation)
If Opie and Jim don't re-sign or if SXM decides to not renew their contracts, I can see their very last show be nothing but Ant calling in doing his impressions for the whole show, everyone from Dice & Danza to Scorch & Jesse Ventura.
There are legal contracts involved written by experienced industry pros. It's likely that him calling in would be akin to him showing up and forcing himself in the building and into the studio. He would probably get in a lot of trouble (meaning a large fine)
What if... the endgame is Anthony going back to SiriusXM on the new contract(Opie and Jimmy refusing to sign without him)? I'm willing to guess that based on SiriusXM allowing that type of talk on their airwaves(the stuff they were appalled at recently) means that O&A brings them in a lot of revenue.
Well if sirusxm fired Ant they probably dont want him back on the show associated with sirusxm even if he's calling in. He could call in and do the show from there like many stated.
Its so obvious that siriusxm would have something against it, like really dude
Why does anyone think he would feel good-natured and goofy about getting fired? Same goes for the dopes who thought he should have tweeted your mom's box. Aw, how cute and appropriate. Yuck.
It may endanger the last 2 $$$, and I want them to get thier checks, even if I don't buy the shit.
Those old men are on job preservation mode and will not endanger it, divide and conquer finally worked, after all of Opies bullshit over the years that it never would.
Congrats SXM, you did what no other company could do, yet tried...

Ant's Tony Danza was one of my favorite O&A bits. I listen to the O&A show vs. Tony Danza Show video on youtube at least once a month.

I think he will call, but on the last day of the contract for one last your mom's box.

would be great, or at least somebody needs to call in with a good ant impression.

They should do a contest like Cheech and Chong did. Do a "Are you the next Anthony, contest."
Have guests call in who sound like Anthony and do impressions. The final one being Anthony himself but acting like just another contestant.

That would be an Extravadanza!

Dice's schtick isn't my thing either, but that doesn't change the fact that Ant's impression of him is absolutely hilarious.

Dice is really great, when you're a 16 year old boy. The Tango and Cash of comedy.

no disagree here. he sucks as a comedian and a person completely overrated. he was right about opie being a piece of shit on howard tho.
