Anthonys Ying-Yang (Politics vs. Comedy)

Anthonys political rants/ views... i actually think a lot of the fans liked it, but for a liberal european douche like me, it got scary sometimes. like the segment about eugenics... i'm sure siriusxm-suits don't read this reddit-stuff, but that was a REAL reason to fire someone, at least from a company-standpoint... I know he is some kind of comedic wunderkind, he brought soooo much to the show, BUT - at least for me - it was really hard to listen to his "rants" sometimes, especially in the last 12 months or so. Comment?

You mean eugenics?

awwwww shit, you're right, like i said, i'm european. thanks for the correction.

Doesn't excuse you.

but...but... i'm german, anthony would loooove me!!!

Scary words on the radio.

of course not. but i really wonder, if or how much people got turned off sometimes by his "rants".

Some people got turned off, sure, but it was part of why I started listening.

The discussions about race between any combination of Patrice, Jimmy, Anthony and Nick DiPaolo are what initially attracted me to the show.

It sucks that this incident was not discussed on the show with the usually debate and humor.

It's a blurry line sometimes between when he is being serious and when he is not. It does turn into funny things sometimes though like bowling for behave.

I'm a liberal douche, but I never really was bothered by any of his politics. Sure, I disagreed about pretty much everything, but he always talked through his logic for his opinions and he always came at it with an original spin. Then, Obama ran for president, and he started just recycling NRA and GOP talking points. He basically became the human embodiment of my racist uncle's unwelcome email forwards.

Yeah, in this country you're supposed to be allowed to hold unpopular opinions.

it's not about that, i would'nt like to have him fired...

of course not. but i really wonder, if or how much people got turned off sometimes by his "rants".
