Just check out the Howard subreddit. Its filled with old segments. There's no indication he does new radio shows anymore and the recent stuff I have listened to just plain stinks. I can't even imagine the long term Howard fans sitting through it.

Late twenties here (whaa?). Never found Jackie to be funny or entertaining but to be fair he was a bit before my time.

Jackie wasn't a brilliant performer, his value to the show was feeding Howard lines, and stirring shit up between all of them. When you heard Jackie hooting in the background, you knew the shit was gonna fly soon. He also kept Robin in check, by going after her whenever she started in, he was the anti-hole. I knew when he left, the show was gonna suck, because Robin would have nobody to shut her down, and I was right. She's insufferable now, has been since Jackie left. It wasn't Jackie's jokes that made him brilliant, it was him going after Robin having anal sex on a sink whenever she got pompous. He was also behind most of the bits going after Bababooey.

Well the clip was posted in 2011, so it's questionable.

I don't feel bad for listening to 90-96 stuff. It was actually awesome radio then. At some point he turned into fuckin gollum stroking his microphone and talking paranoid Shit about everyone instead of focusing on the funny.

It happened when the funny people started leaving, and he would refuse to replace them... thinking he could carry the show all on his own. It's like if "Seinfeld" just had Jerry, as opposed to the rest of the supporting cast that made the show what it was.

Even in a clip where Stern says sociopathic shit like this I still come away thinking FUCK Robin is an annoying cunt.

That and she gave the industry an excuse to have women on as the "smart, mentally balanced one to KEEP THE FELLAS IN CHECK." They've always got to be the intelligent voices of reason. However, that doesn't make me laugh at 6 in the morning, so why do it on a comedy show? OH BEERCAN.

He also admitted to this on the Hannity show. Hannity asked him about having a gag order placed on O&A and he admitted that he did because he "wanted to see if they could actually come up with any real radio material other than talking about Howie."

I wonder how just how much it annoys him that he was never really able to destroy O&A's careers. They may have never made it to his level, but they certainly weren't buried either. His ego will never allow him to admit it, but I'm sure it's popped into his head from time to time.

It's going to bother him until the day he dies. He made his career on destroying his competition, and he never lost...until he went after them. They're the only show that gave it right back to him, played his own game right back at him, and he hates it, and holds a massive grudge over it - you can hear it in his voice.

Except when Sirius took over XM. And when O&A took over his show and were fired after failing to get ratings. How did he lose again? I like O&A's show much more than Stern's these days, but he beat them every step of the way.

I was wondering that too, to be honest he's never really talked about anybody (in length ) other than Neil rogers and o&a. I know he's worked with Phil hendrie never heard him brought up. I get the feeling Ronnie doesn't give a fuck about anyone else, he just brings the heat and goes home.
