What real motivation do they have to do a show, the brand is destroyed, and Opie is too focused on his family (no hate, but he has been different since marriage) And jim is still chasing sucess, if you think that Vice show will propel him to Louie levels....Keep dreaming. There's no way it can be better, and there's no way it can be as good. But I don't think it will suffer as big a drop-off as some people do.

Ant was the best option they had to sit next to O&J, no denying it. But with the need to replace him they might go with a lot more comic 3rd mic spots. That means a lot more spinning wheels of hate. It always seemed bizarre that they didn't have at least 3 appearances per week from the main guys. If that's the thing that ends up changing, it won't be a bad consolation prize.
