Wrong. Speculation is where you guess what you think will happen based on whatever little information you have. Stating what you wish will happen based on your personal interests is not speculation.

If I said "what team do you think Lebron James will go to for next season?" I'm asking you to speculate. If I say "what team do you want Lebron James to go to next season?" I'm just asking you to say your opinion on what you want to happen. They are totally different because one is asking you to project what will happen and the other is asking you to state what you want to happen. It may seem slight but it is a pretty big difference.

If you asked me "where do you want Lebron James to go?" I'd say "well I'm a Celtics fan so I'd like to see him go to Boston." If you asked me "where do you think Lebron will go?" I'd say "well he was looking at the Knicks, Cleveland and maybe staying at Miami so I'd speculate that he'll end up in Cleveland cause he said he wanted to go back there at some point." My answers are different for both.

(I know he's going back to Cleveland but I was just using that for an example).
