Regarding the renaming of the channel

So Sirius decided to rename the O&A channel "SiriusXM Talk"

Does this mean we will now have an influx of old people, new subscribers, and general pedestrians tuning into what they assume will be regular talk radio only to complain/be offended to Sirius when they hear in-depth discussion of cunts, offensive comedy, and uncle paul?

For a channel that said Anthony's "remarks and postings are abhorrent to SiriusXM, and his behavior is wholly inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents," they were damn quick to rename his channel something that represents the company in its purest wording, SIRIUSXM TALK.

SiriusXM Talk will still be the name when Opie and Jim don't work for Sirius anymore after October.

I like my shock radio to be very vanilla... and all-inclusive. I hope they talk in low voices like NPR.

The Virus!!! oops didn't actually read the post. Awkward.

Jay Thomas is on Indie. Very hip.

Stop applying logic.

Is it still an "XL" channel?

renaming the channel to something that has ZERO to do with O&J means their minds were made up long ago. no O&A after october regardless if ant was still there.

Well it's still an XL channel. Unless they changed it and now O&J can't curse.

no, it says it's an XL channel

SiriusXM Talk Opie, Jim Norton, special guests-XL

What, skinny bobby is back?

I thought they were talking about Roland? Or would that be XXXXL?

XXXIX

XL refers to Erock

Most of the talk on this channel through the fall is going to be O&J talking about SiriusXM. So it's a perfect name.

This is a preemptive move to consolodate their talk shows, and come October they'll use it against any contract negotiations.

Goodbye freedom... Goodbye semi-uncensored talk radio... Goodbye last bastion of critical thinking in the media.

! We MUST spend the next 3 months spamming SIRIUSXM TALK to the most conservative of places.

It's not like Opie and Norton are not offensive.

The name is temporary
