Some thoughts on this whole thing: -My c button doesnt work, so from here on out c's will be missing and replaed by _s. So its anthony _umia. This is my first and last post. -I've listened to the show on and off sine around 97. Biggest down times when they were fired and early satellite days -I generally like Anthony, Jim and Opie, and I'm generally not a pri_k like most of the listeners -I have a job and a family so I'm not a _umia apologist. -My take is Anthony is straight up a ra_ist against bla_ks. If anyone believes Mr. _umia is just a guy who's bothered by bla_k violen_e, you are an idiot. He _ares not at all about _rime _ommited by folks of any other _olor. Assholes are assholes regardless of their ra_e. -If Anthony was so honest, why is he not owning his ra_ism on twitter and instead saying he meant violent bla_ks not all bla_ks. BS Mr. _umia. I know you or the you via your show for 15 years and you were not speaking about a subset of bla_ks. Why are you trying to get by on made up te_hni_alities. -I've thought to myself many times over the last 12-24 months that the show has let Anthony go far too mu_h on the Gun, Politi_al, Bla_ks garbage. Sure he probably sprinkles in the funny from time to time but most of the time its garbage. Dummies think Jim and Opie are dumb liberals and Ant is the _onservative savior but Ant is as best a Reagonite, but in reality a lu_ky tin kno_ker who got lu_ky with a lot of hard work. On the suess, more power to Mr. _umia. -Gawker or any other blog are not to blame for the firing. That said, their reporting was awful. Jim Norton talked about like a visitor of the show as opposed to _o-host for 10+ years. Stories of past firings that are older than the Moni_a Lewinsky shit. Who _ares. -Many of the strident Anthony supporters are flat out F students. People who feel like learning and knowledge are some _onsrira_y. I'm disappointed Anthony feels this is the _rowd he needs to align with. Sure their louder than most listeners but surerer their stupid. For a show that made a living out of lambasting the Patti's, Bobo's, Lady Di's, its odd Anthony has tied his wagon to this shitty segment of the audien_e. -I feel sorry that Ant's dad fu_ked up his kids so mu_h their self worth and feeling of safety is born out of having guns. Personally I think guns exponentially add to the _han_e you or a family member may be wounded, killed by a gun, but I dont mind people who do as long as they aren't assholes about it and they report for militia pra_ti_e two times a month. -People who hunt and dont eat their hunt are assholes. Wat_h Naked and Afraid and see real survivalists who _ant hardly kill a snake and who _ant sniff a real animal. Stop telling me _heerleaders and losers with guns that _an kill a small village are anything but weak assholes. -Lastly, this whole event with Anthony drunk at 3AM in Times Square taking pi_tures of people(funny he keeps sharing a pi_ture of some _hi_k with her ba_k turned to him as an example of someone who didn't assault him), was a hilarious thing. For me, if this happened to me, first I'd be _alling myself an idiot for being drunk in that time/pla_e, se_ond this would be a hilarious story to tell. Sure in 1/10000 times this _ould have been tragi but Anthony himself said at no point did he feel threatened for his life. Too bad one of the "funniest" guys of all time took a hilarious event and led it to what is has be_ome. If the _hi_k who hit him was white Anthony would have been on twitter looking to get her number. -I for one will be keeping Sirius and look forward to the O&J&R&F show.

He doesn't bother me. He's a character. A voice on the radio. Regardless of what he says be it racist or misguided, he doesnt affect my daily life. Nor does it yours. He's rambles like a lunatic at times and I love it. He doesn't sway any opinions. He has no power. He's just a voice that says insane shit sometimes and I laugh about it. Even when I disagree. People that are glad he's gone are missing the point entirely. What? You think with all these blowhard republicans and sudo crotchety old racist gone the world will be a utopia and we'll all take long windy walks hand in hand together on the beach?

I'm not trying to stir any pots. Personally I'm a fan of Ants but he has some flaws, as we all do. Just wondering why folks like yourself are falling over yourself to say nothing of signifian_e happened. I'm not self righteous. I'm questioning why the loud opinions are what Ant has aligned with... Appreciate it. I'm now using right click and paste(these posts take me minutes), for all you old people out there. Personally, I always was shocked at the shit they got for the Homeless bus trips and the Sex for Sam(I still dont get it..) but perhaps my thought that people are people regardless of color are subject to the same set of rules is the same. Who knows, still think its different.
