I cancelled as soon as I heard on Friday. They offered me a free month and I said no thanks. I tested my radio on Monday and it was working. Tuesday, it was dead. Now I am just waiting for my $128 refund. I feel bad for bailing on Opie, Jimmy, and Ron and Fez, but the message was more important in my mind.

I just canceled as well, the only things i had XM for were O&A, Electric Area, and Sports Radio.

I figured out the following - electric area only plays podcasts mainly that i can download for free normally, sports radio is available over the air and internet for free, and the chick on the phone got really short and bitchy with me when i refused her one free month, they actually told me "There is an investigation going on for the next 30 days to see what they are going to do with him" right...

NO , pirate the next few shows to see how it is, but you have to speak up if you care and the only way to do so is with your money.

Get the best of both worlds! I called to cancel and denied every offer they threw at me until they literally said I could have 5 months free. They refunded me $150 (I had previously paid for the full year) and I'm not paying anything until December 9th. So they aren't getting any of my money, they know I wanted to cancel cause of Ant and I still get to hear what they say about this whole scenario.

There are many youtube channels that constantly post O&A shows, you could just listen to that.

The first show back is going to suck, regardless. I think Opie is going to rely on the callers (read "idiots") to run the show. Which is fine, it might serve as some sort of catharsis for everybody, but for those of us on this subreddit which have explored every possible scenario, it'll be a pretty big bore. I don't think you can use the number of retweets to count the cancelations. I'm sure there are plenty of people that canceled but didn't put their name out there for various reasons. A few of my friends are fans and they have done it without posting.

I'm not canceling at all. I have an hour commute to work and would go crazy without sat radio. I also just don't give a shit - it's Ant's fault for fucking up like he did.

I have no way to plug my phone into my car stereo and I listen to podcasts while I work. The show won't be nearly as good, but it will be listenable and they'll still get good guests. I also listen to rawdog, comedy central and the sports channels.

I am... internet listening at least. I can't cancel it in our vehicles, where we live there's only 2 fm stations so satelite keeps my wife sane too.
