For anyone still bitching about Louis CK not tweeting his support...
5 2014-07-09 by PCchongor
Have you also noticed that he hasn't posted a single non-promotional tweet since his Common Core kerfuffle back in May? Dude seems to be purposefully laying low and using Twitter the way God intended it, to cleverly market horseshit to people who're probably already acutely aware of whatever it is that's being soullessly shilled in the first place.

He's probably busy getting his boat stuck in shallow water somewhere and is unaware of the whole thing.

Even though they pale in comparison to his earlier appearances, I still have a pretty big soft spot for all his recent goofy boat stories.

No matter what, Louie still tells a good story. It's really up to whatever show he's on to not kiss his ass and get into regular topics and get his take on it.

It's too bad that he saves his good stuff for Howard now. He genuinely seems to be having more fun and like him more. Where was Howard back then?

I think it's more a function of Howard always being what he wanted, but until recently, OandA was all that he could ever get.
We should just be happy that "Slave Girl" still exists on any sort of retrievable medium, and to not to be too upset or surprised when Howard shows up next time instead of the boys on his show.

didnt he trash SXM once because he wanted to listen to howie but after the merger he cant get sirius channel in his car and is stuck with xm channels
2 DoubleLiveGonzo 2014-07-09
His problem was having XM in one vehicle and Sirius in another and having to pay extra on each account to listen to both O&A and Stern in each vehicle. Then went on a humorous tirade against the worst customer service on the planet.

If I recall he also stated in the past that he listened to O&A every morning before cancelling his subscription due to their ridiculous infrastructure and wretched customer service.

Really?
When was the last time "Howard" and "fun" appeared in the same zip code? 1998?

Jackie fan.
1 devilsadvocate33 2014-07-09
Not really; more of a Jackie puppet fan.
And Jackie didn't leave until early 2001......but the wind had gone out of Howard's sails a few years before that.

I'm sure him and Howard will trade goofy Hamptons stories soon

You people are weird with your obsession that every comic that's ever been on the show more than 3x needs to tweet support for Anthony. First of all just cause they're "friends of the show" doesn't mean they're actually friends. Also they may not necessarily agree with what he said and even if they did, alot of these guys are trying to make a good living and may have projects and connections in show biz that don't wanna hear this shit. It's obviously better to toe the line and stay outta trouble. Anthony doesn't always toe the line and in this case he clearly crossed it. Obviously I think it's retarted he got fired, but seriously if you can't understand just staying out of it, you're autistic or insane
2 PCchongor 2014-07-09
Uh... So we agree?

Yessir. Lots of the crazies in here don't though. Bill burr has a black wife and a blossoming career and people are talking shit about him on here. It's ridiculous.

He's asking himself "what would Woody do?"
1 rufusjonz 2014-07-09
for real ... his Louie TV show has become just an homage to Woody's NYC style week after week lately ... needs more witty funny, less artsy
5 [deleted] 2014-07-09
No, I haven't noticed, because I'm not stalking every comic who's been on the show.

Theres almost no one giving "friends of the show" shit for not supporting the boys.
It was one thread and the people that said bad things about the friends got shit on by everyone else.

I think he mostly dropped twitter outside of promotion ever since his Sarah Palin tweets got heat. And he pretty much disappears in the summer between his show airing and touring in the fall.

Neither has Burr. Neither has Bobby. Comedian friends of the show don't have to comment publicly on Ant getting himself fired and the people that think they do are shitheads.

bobby has commented on his show, today.

Swap 'Bobby' for 'Jefferies' and my original point still stands.

Yes, and that's why Ant isn't being prosecuted for what he said. When it comes to keeping your job, free speech doesn't matter. All that matters is what's in your contract. A catholic priest technically has the right to convert to islam and start fucking a woman, but he's not going to keep his job if he does those things.
2 sungodra_ 2014-07-09
Also all the other Catholic priests would call him a fag

No one is obliged to show support unless they want to. Other than that, support for a so called "racist" will definitely hurt his Hollywood carrier.
And yes I know that anyone can find way more racist things that Louie has said on the show.

I think his stand up is great. I think his show is the most overrated thing on TV.
