I guess we can't be sure until next Tuesday but judging from Opies tweets and Anthonys LFTC tweets it sounds like there split.

Jimmy's tweets made it sound like they're going to honor the rest of the current contract, and get back together for a podcast after that.

He could still do LFTC and Opie & Anthony when Jimmy and Opie leave.

Until October when the contract is up. It might be a long wait, but they've gotten back together after much longer stretches of hiatus.

Right now, it seems like it's over.

But - people shouldn't downplay how unworkable the current situation is for the boys.

Clearly, SXM can fire one without the others. And this is the greatest FU to the show. SXM is making the show twist in the wind until its final day.

Just a brief aside on SXM: Isn't it great that a company will fire you via e-mail after 10 years of employment? Doesn't that just ooze class?

Opie and Jim will probably get themselves fired so as to not fuck up their staff's contracts with SXM. Then they can start a podcast with Ant. If that's what they want to do.

I think that it's done. I'm just mad about it. There are some days where I'll listen 3 times. O&A were the best radio show ever. RIP.
