My mind starts swimming when I consider the long-term implications of the likely disbanding of O&A. Even if Sirius reversed their decision, the show as it existed a mere week ago will NEVER be back. A dynamic has occurred that has ever show member thinking about the future and where to go from here. If Jim and Opie soldier on through October, then that's it for the channel (IMO). Just imagining the somber atmosphere as the studio and all it's branding getting dismantled is surreal.

But here's the bight side (for me, at least). I've listened to every single show in its entirety since 10/4/04 and I'm up to 7/29/11. And while I'm aware of current events, I have THREE entire years of archived shows to go through before the O&A show is finished for me. So I got that going, which is nice.
