Bill Burr's MMP has just been released. Wonder if he discusses Ant?

He's getting blasted pretty hard on twitter for not addressing it. I'm listening now to see if he brings it up at all

Jumped ahead to the end to see if he even squeezes in a "stand with ant". Nothing.

I've reserved judgement on he and derosa for now, since they are trying hard to make in LA, but fuck man. O&A gave you guys a show. Ralphie May defended Ant. Show some solidarity for fucks sake.

"Bill rambles about boxing vs UFC, your buddy wearing a skirt and the best part of being a kid."

Doesn't sound like it

What a great guy!

He won't talk about it. Ever. He's just gonna pretend like he never knew him.

CowsAreCurious, comedy time traveler.

"I'm all for free speech, but it better be what I want to hear."

All this political stuff means nothing. Ok, Burr and apparently Louis are liberals. So is Penn Jilette. Let these people do what they'll do in their own time. It's like every time the fans get involved on the show. "Well Bill Burr's on the Fucko List for what he did to Patrice" Then they get Patrice on and it all gets cleared up. Every time fans get involved they take it too far. The only thing that matters is they've probably talked in private. They don't owe you anything.

He's more libertarian now, like myself. But I can guarantee he's not whatever Anthony is.

No they don't owe me anything, it's just disappointing to see KKTITN Joey D, and "Bitches are stupid, i'm never getting married" Burr betray O&A simply because they're phobic about losing work. Now I have to always think of Burr and Derosa as dull, backstabbing twats, because their stage personas are literal 180's from who they are irl.

If Dan Soder and Jay Mohr can tweet in support of Ant, the rest of them can too.

SO basically what you're saying is because these guys haven't publicly made statements to you they're backstabbers and disloyal? Even if they have probably reached out personally. Even if for all we know five minutes from now could say something. Even if Anthony himself hasn't gotten on and tweeted what you're saying now. Clearly as displayed lately Ant has no problem expressing himself. You're just going to take it upon yourself to describe what they are. Entitlement.

Hey, it is what it is. You want to say you're an edgy comedian, you better stick up for your friends when they get fired because the PC police came after them. You don't? I won't come see your shows, watch your podcasts, or plug your gigs, because I don't like dull comedy, I like edgy comedy.

This is no different to me from Larry the Cable Guy being a frugal New Yorker in real life, but playing a hill billy on stage.

This is the same tired argument that has been reused over and over. First off: It's not an issue of "PC police" when a highly visible raving man is on Twitter condemning every black person for the actions of one sick twat on a street. And if you feel that way about the comics feel free, do what you want. I will admit it would be slightly less annoying if every other subreddit thread is "BILL BURR FUCK HIM DICK CUNT FAGGOT FUCK" Don't see them. No one gives a fuck. Then next week when you find out what really happened and feel stupid about it wallow in it. The fact of the matter of it is certain comics that have been on the show people already hated. And this is just one way to now freely say fuck them. It's dishonest and childish. So in all honesty, do whatever the fuck you want, but it doesn't have to be announced to half of Reddit. We get it.

It's not dishonest and childish, I explained to you exactly why it's completely rational to be disappointed and frustrated with them. It is really embarrassing for comedians to portray themselves as edgy risk takers and lone gunslingers, but then in real life, be complete cowards and company men. It makes everything they say weightless. If certain comedians are silent, and others are vocal, that should tell you something.

Also, I don't know anything about comedians the show hated outside of Ralphy May, but like I said, I was a fan of Burr until he did Joe's podcast and said how happy he was and how he was done being the "angry guy", and Joe until yesterday or whatever.

Well, let's wait and see, ok. It's not like every single comic that's ever been on the show have all spoke out. If every other comic that's alive anyway comes out and supports and Bill Burr is the last one and fails to say anything, I'll join you. Deal?

The only thing Bill Burr has to do is be is white and look like Billy Corgan.

lmao

It is odd that he hasn't even mentioned it. On his podcast he's played devil's advocate for many people who have said/done worse things than Anthony.

Has Louis said anything about the Ant situation? I'd think that he'd be the most reticent about it, more than Burr. There are some real sensitive flowers in Louis' newer fan base, he gets a lot of his support from the SJW progressive types nowadays.

Nope, he hasn't.

I'm 13 mins in, and hasn't even came close to bringing it up

Is this the live one that he recorded before Ant was fired?

the most recent one i can see June 30, 2014

Go to the BLOG tab and it'll be there.

Would not surprise me at all to see Bill tweet about Primus.

Brought up drones and he thinks someone is going to start a killing spree with one. Hope he wasn't talking about Ant.

Oh yes, I forgot about that rule in the comedy Geneva convention.

Of course he doesn't mention it, his wife is fucking black, and he's a flaming liberal faggot.

I think it has to do more with his wife being black.

He already mentioned the flaming liberal faggot part <in jest>
