I think the stupidest thing I've read on this sub is that Agatha on twitter tracked Ant down, got into his shot and assaulted him to force him out of his job. Sometimes the stupid here is so overwhelming.

This is actually a really interesting theory, go on.

I guess it is a possibility. His contract was ready to expire and he want to do his own podcast for more control and maybe more money. Probably had a buyout clause in his contract if he got fired for his controversy. plus more if he wins unlawful termination lawsuit. Finally, gets a shit ton of free publicity for his new show. Even with all this it is still doubtful he did it on purpose.
