It's not even twitter that's the problem. The difference that one is offensive comedy and the other is serious opinion. This clip and the other Hoo hoo clips are obviously tongue-in-cheek humor. It would take a lone nutter with a ch1p on their shoulder to see it as racist.
Stern has said some things in seriousness that could be considered extremely offensive, too. Ant obviously has said things in seriousness on air that are just as bad as what he said in that rant. If he had gone off on this rant on air, they'd probably be okay. Plus people get lambasted by the media for jokes all the time, too. I see your point and agree there's a difference, but putting that shit online is still Ant's biggest mistake, other than being a racist in the first place.
