This may be the best post I've ever seen on this subreddit and I wish you a happy 4th, sir.

Bravo, sir! Bravo!

Con: It would be on Long Island so not many celebs like Ricky Gervais driving out to the compound.

Pro: Roland won't be apart of it

Why would you assume it's going to be at the compound? With current tech, it can be anywhere. Hell, Ant could move the studio to his apartment in the city. Easier to just start over, not in his house, so there's no liability for him. All they need is a loft like Artie had (and might be available) where they can get a good high speed hook up, some gear, and some couches. They don'y have to have video right away, and that's where most of Ants money went.

If they ever work together again.

Yeah guys, all they need is a cheap loft in New York City to pay rent on every month!

Who said cheap? If Artie can afford it, then they can.

Pro: Total freedom

Con: They don't get paid as well. More work than just the radio part. Also have to deal with the business side of things.

Con:Opie

You rode this horse to the end and I salute you.

Stop listening.

con: Jimmy doesn't know how to get podcasting equipment into the city

The cons for them is less pay, paying for a staff and more leg work on their behalf. Carolla has one of the biggest shows and that guys promoting, he's showing up on other podcasts, doing gigs, and so on. For OnA, that's way out of their comfort zone these days.

Who's side are you on?

The side that listens to a lot of podcasts as well as OnA and know that OnA are lifelong radio guys who have become comfortable with how radio works and not willing to go back to hustling their show like most podcasters do.

Bullshit. For a couple years now, everyone has been "You need to do a podcast", now that they might have to, it's all "It'll never work."

Pick a fucking side.

You really are dense dude. There's no "side" here, there's a reality. Look there's a lot of positives for them doing the podcast but their fanbase alone listening to the podcast and supporting the podcast won't be enough for them to live the same lifestyle that their accustomed to. Joe Rogan, Adam Carrolla and Marc Maron make good money from the podcast but even better money on the road. Also, those guys had to promote their show like crazy early on to get their shows going. Hell right now, the OnA podcast is not even in the top 10 of comedy podcasts.

So that means the guys will have to go out there and promote, do shows and so on, and you know what, aside from a road trips here and there, they really don't want to. Opie and Ant have been one maybe 3 podcasts total? They have to do more promotion on their own, they have to spend more money out of pocket, they have to hire their own crew and on and on and on, and frankly, they're radio guys who I don't think want to work that hard for it.

There's a lot of assumptions in your response, besides a lot of petty anger.

A TRULY uncensored show, online, for free, and you think they won't get MORE listeners? You really think the fan base they have now, is all they'll ever have? You're assuming they don't want to do the work, or hire someone to do it. You're assuming they can't afford to fund an LLC to start up a podcast or network, that they won't get advertising, and won't be able to get a crew. Hell, they can get crew in 5 minutes, advertising on Twitter for free, volunteer interns. The current O&A podcast is just a retread of Best Of, it barely counts.

Yeah, I'm dense. You're an ignorant twat, who gives up for them before they've even tried. Way to support them, dummy.

Lol keep fighting the good fight Mr. White Knight, you're clearly not getting how much money is involved. I'll support them as I do all the shows I enjoy.

Now I'm a white knight.

What a twat. Lol.

Anthony's equipment and Anthony's house, does anyone really believe that Opie is going to work in those conditions

O&A will never work together again.

They barely worked together now.
