Yesterday i was thinking ok there's a chance they're gonna be like opie and when the show comes back monday, they might just not discuss anything about it, that'd be hilarious. Like how they didn't mention a word about sabean.

Then when i got home this morning and heard about ant getting fired, i'm there.. hmm.. I was thinking ok well opie and jim gotta support ant and quit now or at least by the fall quit sirius, and go do the opie and anthony show on podcast.

But as i'm reading thru these threads pages back, you just get how nope.. thats it.. if you support ant then you gotta deal with that negative backlash and you're now deemed a racist supporter as well. Then you gotta watch for your job next eh? So nope.. opie's done with ant's shenanigans and not gonna support ant on this one. Jimmy seems real soft supporting him as well.

Watch for a new named show on monday, probably something like opie jimmy and sam show. But isn't jimmy kinda on his way out and this whole past 20th year he wasn't really mentioned.. He seems secretly bitter about it and his characters are barely happening. So i dunno that whole jimmy angle i just don't really see it featured. So you're not gonna name it the opie and sam show.. Sam's personality is bland and just doesn't have charisma or all that much of a sense of humor. I don't know.. i guess they'll just keep going and call it "the opie show". But now they really gotta watch what they say cause any iffy opinion and they could be axed next, so it'll all be filtered and safe, so boring. Don't touch anything to do with hate speech with blacks, jews, gays, retards or fat people. There is no real free speech in the media anymore.

Ant's done with anything to do with these guys, cause you support him you lose sponsors and you gotta deal with the backlash crowd going after them next.. Its like he's toxic. Watch for his LFTC show to get removed from livestream cause they'll go after them next and they'll do like sirius did. Livestream ain't gonna be supporting racism. He'll have to maybe host it on his own website or something. Won't see too many comedians going there cause then they gotta deal with negative backlash going after them, and they won't touch it cause its bad for their careers. Its like they think, love ya ant but i gotta watch for my job. Not sure what ant's gonna do but he won't be able to be working anywhere on major media, you know it or else they'll have to deal with those few whiners that complain to companies who then make staff apologize. He's blacklisted and done. He'll be low-key and retiring.

They only way they can pull out of this mess is for opie and jimmy to quit, probably by fall and do the opie and anthony podcast.. but when you get into losing money i don't see it happening. They just don't have the balls to do it. Whatever sort of show opie will do just doesn't have pizzazz and just ain't gonna be as good no matter who they get on. So watch for opie to just coast in mediocrity until he retires.. oh well.. was a good 20 year run but its come to an abrupt halt.

And monday, watch for them to be walking on eggshells about anything having to do with ant, because if you support him, you go against the views of sirius, which is your boss and then you're biting the hand that feeds you. And then ya gotta watch out for your job. I totally get opie's angle on don't touch this at all.. so yeah, don't be surprised if on monday they don't even mention it and act like nothing happened. There could be callers discussing it but there'll be no opinion from opie about what his views are on anything to do with anthony.

Now it'll be left to be seen, are opie and jim gonna wanna be castrated doing neutered radio like this? Or are they gonna man-up and quit sirius and do a podcast with anthony. I fucking hope so.. somewhere i think they may have balls and integrity for real freedom of speech. We'll see if they can say no to the money and do this instead. Ya never know, that new show could be pretty popular... might not have to lose money. When you look at how much those top podcasts are making.

Wow, quite a few days there eh? boom outta nowhere and its escalated to this. Its too bad, i gotta listen to something every morning when i'm driving around working.. I guess i'll checkout whatever they try and do but ya know it'll be fuckin boring and safe, compared to how it was. I'm sure there'll still be some laughs but sorta sucks now.
