How upset do you think Ope and Jim are with Anthony?

Just on a personal level. In the right or wrong, Anthony could have avoided everything by not hitting twitter. Because he did, now it means a major life change for all of them. Thoughts?

Opie tried to get ant to shut up but it was probably to late at that point.

Opies "good morning @anthonycumia TAG I'll take it from here" tweet was probably the most honest and sad tweet he's ever tweeted. Poor opster saw the tea leaves.

I agree I felt so bad for Opie in the moment. He saw the writing on the wall and knew this would happen but couldn't stop it. It was to late. Ant dug the rabbit hole deep this time.

They have all the right in the world to be. It looks bad on them that they let him say so much racist shit for so long, but in all honesty, you can't blame them. Arguing with him only makes him defend his position, and seem more racist. So they usually ended up just sitting there and letting it happen because they didn't want him to say anything really bad that would lead to what ended up being inevitable. I'm sure they both expressed to him on several occasions that they would prefer he didn't get racial on the show or on Twitter, but Ant is just so strong in his beliefs.

"This upset meter goes up to 11"
Yeah Ant know all the key words Savage,Them, Animal He could of got his point across without saying them. But it was a slow news day and he got fucked.

There was no way he could have foreseen that happening. He's said worse stuff.
As for Op and Jimmy: Jim might be bummed. Not to say that Op isn't. But, Opie probably looks at it like a friend that you got a job, and he fucked himself. It doesn't affect you, but it still kind of sucks.

Jimmy is super bummed because he knows the show is circling the drain at this point and he's rightfully doubtful that it's gonna get corrected. He loves this job. Poor little fella.

But was there really a cry for him to be fired?

There were trolls trolling online if that's what you mean.

Probably not too mad really. This thing has a 20 year powderkeg behind it. He just gave it the spark. The exact same shit could happen to Howard Stern is someone gives Gawker a reason to go through his history.
