The question no one is asking.

Was Ant actually assaulted and does he have witnesses that can attest to that ? I for one believe him wholeheartedly. Will that change anything with his employment at SiriusXM ? Probably not, that's just the way these massive corporations are, they can afford to take the hit, what other radio entity can compete with them ?

As for Mr. Cumia, has he filed a police report ? Cause he should, if he gets assaulted he should file a police report. Who is this woman, what's her past like ? No one knows, no one cares, they just want to crucify Anthony. This woman needs to be found, no one even knows her name and yet she's the catalyst that caused the single, greatest radio show in my lifetime, IMHO, to come to an end.

What if in the coming week we find out that she has a history of violence and Anthony, we're all well aware has a history of urban photography. Would that change anything ? I feel if he was legitimately assaulted and he can prove it, then he should get his job back. Him actually getting assaulted will vindicate him and then, maybe, just maybe Sirius might welcome him back 1 day, but I seriously doubt it. Honestly I think the show is going to come to an end on Monday, dead air, Monday morning.

Thoughts ?

He's lying on some level.

First he said that he took a picture of her from behind, then she only turned around once she heard the shutter.

Then, people asked him for the first pic of her walking away and he didn't respond and ignored the tweets.

the fact that he decided to lie about that makes me question a lot about his side of the story. i'm sure there was a physical altercation, but i wouldn't be surprised if, out of anger, he embellished certain details to pedal his "inner city blacks are violent" stance.

for example, i doubt she called him a "white motherfucker". that sounds like something he normally says when imitating black people on the show. and let's be honest, ant doesn't look very white. she'd faster call him an italian slur or hispanic slur (or assume he's part black) before she called him a "white motherfucker".

That's my tweet. Where's my credit and praise, god dammit.

Good job, buddy. Way to tweet.

THANK YOU.

Whether or not he got assaulted won't change anything. The reason he was fired was for his tweets. Even if he was legitimately attacked the company isn't gonna turn around and say "racism is ok when you are attacked so we are hiring Anthony back."

And this what all the mouth breathers here have missed or refuse to acknowledge. This was all his fault and they should be mad at Anthony and Anthony alone.

Actually the question I've yet to see ask: what does the Whoo Kid think

What if in the coming week we find out that she has a history of violence and Anthony, we're all well aware has a history of urban photography. Would that change anything ?

Umm, no? He was fired for the racist rant afterwards.

My questions is this, is savage or animal now racist, regardless of context? I dont know, if someone randomly attacked me on the street, i would call that person an animal or a savage, regardless of color. Besides that, i read just about all his tweets and If he hadnt said the woman was black, I wouldnt have known the color of the person based on the tweets. Kind of fucked up when you can call a black person a name, and regardless of what it is someone can claim racism. Ive been an O and A fan for years, so I know his history, but I just think if you are going to take someones livelihood away for racist tweets, they should obviously be racist. There should be actual racial slurs involved instead of random slurs that can apply to anyone. To me calling someone an animal or a savage is no different than calling them an asshole or a scumbag. Just my two cents.

I agree with you. It's like saying cunt is a racist term because she was black, or sexist because she has one.

You must be a true o&a dimwit fan. You're seriously saying that Anthony's tweets weren't racial? I'm not going to get into his whole racist tirade, but one of his very first tweets was "I called her a fucking "&$;;-;" cause that's what she WAS!" You're telling me that he would censor "bitch" or any other cuss word in there but not "fucking" or "cunt." He clearly called her a fucking NIGGER.

Youre missing the point. When you are taking someones job away from them for doing something, you have to have definitive proof of him doing that. Youre example is great. "I called her a fucking &$%#% because thats what she was." Im sorry, but theres nothing but perceived racism in that comment. Firing someone because you assume what that jumbled mess was supposed to represent is just bullshit. Unless he writes "I called her a nigger" you cant just say thats what he did. As a regular person reading that you can all you want, sure, but not if youre taking the guys job away. You made my point.

You're missing the point. That was just the very first tweet, and I'm not going to explain why the rest of his tirade was racial. His tweets were clearly racist. And some bigots with a racist mindset refuse to see that, as exemplified by yourself. Anyone else but the subset of bottom of the scum O&A fans realize this. People like you aren't realizing that while you have the freedom to say whatever the fuck you want, they have consequences. And Anthony's was, he got fired. And Sirius has all the rights to fire him, of course! Sirius cut the plug on Anthony before there was public outrage. Explain to me again, how freedom of speech protects Anthony from being fired by a private company. You definitely made my point. ;)

Thank you for telling me what I dont realize. Idiot. 1. Dont be one of the douchebags that calls people a bigot or a racist because they have a different opinion on a certain subject than you do. Thats just stupid. All you are doing is reinforcing what I said by calling me a bigot when I havent said one bigoted thing to you. 2. His tweets werent as clearly racist as you say. The one you pointed out? Not racist. At all. It may be clear to you because you listen to him all the time and are referancing what you know from the radio show. But if I showed someone that didnt know him that tweet, they would not just assume that mess was the word nigger. 3. I never said Sirius didnt have the right to fire him. But in all honesty, its not really firing someone when you have to continue paying them. 4. Why would I explain how freedom of speech protects Anthony when I never said this was a freedom of speech issue? Youre literally making an argument up that doesnt exist. My point was if you are going to fire a person because of racist hate speech, well you should have some pretty concrete racist hate speech to use as an example. Is that asking too much? Ive heard worse on the show without any repercussions. Iff it were your job, wouldnt you want an example of what they were firing you for?

Wow. You are literally saying that someone has to explicitly say "I hate all niggers. Niggers should die," for a statement to be "concretely racist." Since you obviously have a one dimensional thinking span, I guess I can't get it through your head. Good luck with that, you half-brained dimwit.

How about just "That girl was a fucking nigger."? Yes if youre going to fire someone for saying something racist, they have to actually say something racist. Thoughts dont count. Heres something, say yourre at work and someone asks you where your other co-workers are, all of which happen to be black males. You nonchalantly say "Oh the boys are outside taking a break." That person goes to your boss and says you said a racist slur in front of her. Youre fired. Is that right? Is that fair? Dont say it doesnt happen either because right now theres a story of how Warren Sapp didnt tip a waitress because she walked up to the table and greeted them by saying "How ya doing boys? What can I get for ya?" and he claimed she was calling him a racial slur. I personally do not agree with Anthony on most of his world views. Im just not a fan of people losing their jobs over something they do on social media off the clock. Regardless of how famous they are or are not. But if youre going to do it, you should at least be able to provide concrete evidence. Pulling up a tweet that says "I called her a %&$##" and saying "That %&$## means the word nigger." Is a pretty piss poor example when youre taking away a persons livelyhood.

K, I get what you're saying. It was a pretty rash firing, but I will never defend Anthony after his tirade.

*but well deserved rash firing.

Thats fine. Im not defending his views either.
