Well in the age of the internet, actual journalism has become a useless non profitable venture leading to the rise of the Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, Gawker, Jezebel, etc. People need to make their money some way so they just complain about things that they would never care about if it wouldn't generate clicks/views. I wonder how many hours of O & A Aleksander Chan or Lindy West have listened to before claiming the entire show was racist garbage. Oh well, Thems the breaks. Sucks for fans, but I guess society "needs" this.
