And now a 20 year radio show is over. It's over. O&A weren't Sirius employees. "Opie and Anthony Radio Network LLC" was contracted with Sirius. No Anthony, no show. And all he had to do was SHUT THE FUCK UP.

I'm on both sides with this. Part of him stuck to his beliefs which i love. But also he could've walked away without being fired if he just chilled a little.

He surely knew he treading on thin ice, tweeting the shit he did, they been doing that apology bit for fucking weeks and people got fired for saying stuff that was no where near as bad as what Ant said. Its a sad way for the show to end but lets be honest it has been very hit and miss lately, not having the regular comics on as much hurt the show and hearing some of Ants rants was like listening to Hannity but with swearing. Does anyone think Opie and Jimmy will say fuck it and walk, I feel the worst for Jimmy even though he has his stand up which nothing special on the radio he is fucking great. But the OP is right he should have just shut up.
