Talked to Joe Derosa after his show in Scottsdale this weekend, and he said him and Burr are planning on bringing the Uninformed Podcast back.
Hope they make this happen.

as long as its not 'Uniformed featuring Nia'

Agreed. The occasional Nia podcast is fine as long as it's an extra one later in the week. I can hear how Bill gets material from their podcasts together.

In the meantime, Joe Derosa's podcast is pretty good. I don't listen to every show but I'm glad he has a set topic for every episode instead of just bringing on comics to talk about themselves.

agreed, comedians talking about current events etc. is way more interesting than hearing about a club they enjoyed playing, partly what turned me off rogans podcast

I love DeRosa but his podcast bores me to tears. Way too dry & on an NPR tip. I'd be pumped if Uninformed came back tho. (If not just to hear how many times in one hour Burr can say the name "Joe")

"Joe, you don't know what you're talkin about, Joe.." (He starts and ends every sentence with his name)

I love NPR podcasts. This American Life rules (not technically NPR but still public radio)

Oh, the thing that Ari Shaffir has been doing for years?

All get ever talks about is inside comedy shit and clubs and ticket sales and costs and blah blah blah. Literally no-one cares other than other comedians. Every single time he's on that's what he talks about. He really seems like he's become a complete dick.

Maybe? I don't know. I didn't say he invented the concept.

Just got a Tweet from Derosa. He's gonna be in NYC all of July so he will be on the show soon.

All of July? He's supposed to be appearing at Helium Buffalo July 10-12.

They've been saying this for a year already. Jesus, Joe.

This is interesting i think. What is/was the premise of this podcast?

Joe trying to talk about topics while Bill ridicules him. It was hilarious.
I actually liked Danny on uninformed too when him and Bill would team up on Joe

Burr is hysterical. Derosa is an unfunny douche.

DeRosa's standup is hilarious!
-7 kevin_k 2014-06-30
Not to me. Fake douchy angsty indignance, the most uncool person trying to be the hip, too-cool-for-the-room guy.

You just described Vos, Jimmy, Burr, etc etc Basically just about every comedian that comes on the show. That's what comedians do.
5 mikelp1973 2014-06-30
Doesn't make Derosa funny.
-4 kevin_k 2014-06-30
Well, two things: first, those guys are all hysterically funny, very quick, and razor sharp. IMO Derosa is not funny and (less subjective) he's not the quick wit the guys you mention are, he's more of a storyteller.
And second, I don't completely agree: Jimmy doesn't at all try to come off as hip cool guy. More the opposite. Neither does Burr. Vos sort of does but in his case it makes him more funny because it's so ridiculous.

Don't mess with his livelihood.
