Sam doesn't get nearly enough hate. Opie would be doing godawful radio where he'd intro songs with stuff like "Stevie Ray Badass" for SRV and "They aren't related, but they Doobie Brothers." Opie was the one who was saved. Ant would have made it, Jim was associated with Andrew Dice Clay before Opie.

All three of them are burnt out and are doing nothing more than the bare minimum required of them to keep getting paychecks. You can't be all that entertained or excited about hours of them watching shitty youtube clips, music breaks, shitty interviews with shitty guests.The O&A Show from the past would beat the shit out of the O&A show today.

I wouldn't be surprised if SiriusXM tells em to pack their shit at some point down the road. The management doesn't give a fuck about them obviously. They can't even get a new board in their studio. If the boys had any balls left they would push the rules till they got fired or just quit. They won't because what they do for a living is "EASY MONEY"!! They proved themselves years ago, they don't have to do anything except show up and attempt to be funny now.

Why do I still listen? Because I have invested years of listening to the show and I tune in to see if just by chance, they decide to do a decent show that day. I can barely sit through an hour of the show anymore. I usually will just start playing music, or find an archive to listen to on the way to work.

There is more to life than a stupid radio show to obsess about. I have always listened as a hobby, and have laughed at people like you who take it all way too seriously and hang onto every word they say like it's the word of god. I could give a fuck if the show ended tomorrow. There's plenty of music, books, and movies to get wrapped up in than a douchey radio show that is mediocre at best now. Move the fuck on or accept the fact you will have to deal with people who think Opie stinks and the show is shit now... at the end of the day, WHO GIVES A FUCK WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK!!! You like what you like ok? Defending it makes you look pathetic.

Lars Ulrich started Metallica. Opie brought in someone funnier than him 20 years ago, big deal. Anthony got a nice career out of it but Opie saved his own with the hiring.

I like how the best defence of opie is that he helped bring anthonys genius to the public. Ant probably would have been successful no matter what because he is talented and witty. Opie would still be spinning records in buttfuck nowhere.

Also the best shows and segments are when opie is out or is quite. He is a chore that needs to be gotten through to get to the funny/good parts.
