Are the guests that Sam gets on his show the guests that O&A turn down?

If so, why would they turn down Guy Pearce, Jon Favreau, Dean Norris, Chris Meloni, Natahsa Lyonne, Crispin Glover and so on?

Sam doesn't need his interviews to be live, so he can wait around and grab someone that's in doing the rounds at 3pm.

He's actually a really good interviewer and can make people I don't give a shit about comfortable enough to give a good interview. He's a lot better with random guests than O&A, that's for sure.

I think a lot of it has to do with timing. A lot of the guests Sam gets are tied up during O&A's shows but they are free after 10am or whenever so they do Sam's show.

Chris Meloni and Dean Norris were on the show very recently.

I assume in some cases for sure. But majority of the time i bet it's Sam being in the building past 10:30/11am, so just a case of actually being there to interview them.

They've had Dean Norris on before. Excellent guest. Very funny and fit right in with the show.

OnA hate having to do work by interviewing guests and timing shit right. Theyve openly admitted theyd rather just cruise for 3 hours

Some guests can't make it into the building while O&A are still on the air and some can't b/c O&A turned them down outright, so it's not surprising that Sam gets their scraps whenever he can.

He's putting up numbers.

I have a hard time believing Anthony would ever pass on crispin glover. actually I think he was on a year so ago.

Yep. Probably just didn't get in building in the later.

I would assume half are from guests they turn down and the other guest who have time conflicts with the show. I think they turn down guests that don't interest them, regardless of how big of names they are.

Sam is a useless broadcaster if there isn't a person in studio to talk to; whether it's the interns, whookid, or a celebrity. He knows this, so he whores himself out to anyone who wants to plug whatever bullshit it is they're trying to sell.

Sam has better guests than O&A. Last week he had Kris Kardashian who's normally a big get

I understand what you mean, that she's a hard guest to book (not sure if that's true)...but look at this post. You just praised Sam for having better guests with the example of Kris Kardashian.

I'm pretty certain that was sarcasm.
