Between him and Eddie Trunk they've made metal not fun to listen to, they take it and their opinions way too fucking seriously, and they're both suck ups who should be working in a bowling alley while living in their mother's basements. Their opinions are literally worthless, and the older they get, the sillier they look.

Metal and music is a young person's world. Let them have it. Stop lecturing them on how and what to listen to.

Its not that metal itself is for young people. Its that they like shitty immature metal for the most part and act like 14 year olds about it. I love metal, various genres of it, but their show makes me want to vomit. That is not a good gauge of metal or metal fans. I don't know any actual metal fan who likes Jim or Eddie and thinks they are interesting or knowledgable about this stuff.

It's not that it's for younger people, it's just that Jim and Eddie are out of touch. If it wasn't made in the 80s or early 90s, or it isn't from a long established band they know fuck all about it. They don't even come across as slightly knowledgeable about the kind of metal that they claim to listen to. Jim basically only knows about Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath.

Sometimes Florentine's shtick gets a little trashy and tiresome. But I've seen him live and he killed. Not a Burr/CK, but well worth the price of admission for a club.
