Anthony says "hello" weirdly

When talking to a caller, Ant will say "hello" in a weirdish european butler type voice. Its hard to expain what it sounds like, but he does it at least once a day. Is this voice a reference to someone or something?

I've heard them mention that "Heloe" and "Good Evening" are from The Shining but I know that film outside out and don't know what lines they're referring to.
