I recommend this drivel. The golden age of Ricky Gervais. Before he was insufferable and 'articulate' he was mainly fat, drunk, and unintelligible on air. And the best part is hearing the utter shit coming from Karl Pilkington's mouth. Magic.

And more than 10 years after these shows, they all stink on their own. Ricky's is one-note, Steve's show is GOD AWFUL, and Karl is still gold but we barely have unfiltered and unedited access to him any more.

Pre 2010 he was great on o&a. Ever since he got into social media I think reading about himself all day has made him really insecure, now whenever he is on radio or a late night show he is so worried about how he is coming across, he just turns into some stuttering mess.

All of Merchants appearances have been great though, I hope he comes back soon.

Steve is great off the cuff. His writing is really formulaic and atrocious. Hello Ladies is the worst tv show I've ever seen.

The xfm shows were amazing. That's how I got into ricky gervais, spent a summer in England and obsessively listened to this show. Fav segments; rockbusters , cheeky freak of the week, white van karl.
