Why and when did Instant Feedback go away?

Instant Feedback was the shit. Why did they stop using that on the show? Did they just phase it out for Twitter / Pal Talk? I moved to Austin in 2008 and was working 2 jobs. I didn't pick the show back up until 2011 when I moved back to the east coast.

The Shockmaster was getting too many haters so he went Instant Feedback dark.

I'm glad it went away. The lines were awful and it would just allow Opie to further halt the momentum of the show. I don't want to hear listeners jokes.

It didn't help that the feedbacks were either printed out (much like how they still do news stories, fucking old men), so Opie would then bitch "You didn't highlight them!!" or Opie would try to read them on the clunky foundry feedback page which would always refresh as he was reading them. "Hold on hold on hold on hold on, I got a good instant feedback, he says ---ughhh it just refreshed and I lost it, FUCK. FUCKKKK."

mostly twitter/paltalk

Which is dumb because they only bitch about twitter like fuckin hens. At least the instant feedback got some great funny lines.

They're too hurt by our words and the words of the Twitterers to accept our funny lines. Most of our funny lines are about Opie.

wow, paltalk. that really caught on.

Been listening in 2006, and it was huge. The rooms would go all night. They talked about how the show never ends, and how fh rileys would be the pests hangout. How things change.

meh. it was never anything of any consequence beyond a cooze farm for ant. for them to be still so "all-in" on a failed video instant messenger seems like someone might just have a stake in paltalk.

BUYING A HUGE STAKE IN A VENTURE THAT LATER FLOPS IS THE BIT!

NO, SPREADING HERPES AND GENITAL WARTS TO CAMWHORES IS THE BIT.

I just downloaded it the other day for the first time ever. I was amazed I was being asked to pay to look at some ugly pests face, while tinychat.com lets everybody show their ugly mugs for free. It kept crashing after a few minutes. I'll probably uninstall because it sucked so bad it offended me just on principle.

There's potential for a good video chat community on some software that isn't a piece of shit, but I wonder if the userbase is still around?
