yes, talking points Cumia at it again!!!! deportation rates higher than in the 2000s but nothing like speaking half facts and stats while blaming Reagan's policies on someone else 30 years later! wonder why he doesnt mention the blocking of 21 new facilities and requests for increased spending only to have budgets cuts by congress? yeah nothing huh? hmmmm has he spoken against his freedom fighters that killed the cops yet?
Anthony is a smart guy, he's gotta see the shit going on with Opie..maybe he's just waiting for the Opster to say something dumb so he'll get fired and ant and jimmy can have their own show. Man what a great show that'd be...
I'm giving it 10 minutes and then switching to Stern. I hate these incessant eating/food bits by these man-children Roland and ERock while Sam smugs it up.
As an airline pilot this drive me nuts. I don't give a fuck what you call it, near miss, near hit, whatever George Carlin says... except this one WASN'T EVEN CLOSE! It's all perspective for fucks sake. The second plane is much closer to Ope than the other one, making it look like he buzzed right past the first plane.
Once again, Opie tries to troll the public for sake of 10 seconds of publicity.
Back to Steve Perry...now back to the other guy. Ok now back to Steve Perry. And one more time to the other guy. Now let's hear that other song by Journey...
OK pretty obvious they're not putting in any effort tody (i.e, food segment, this Journey bullshit). Time to catch up on my podcasts. TTYL sweet cheeky kids
What a douche hobby. Collecting pictures of you standing next to people with marginal approval from the masses. I love Jimmy, but god damn that's a stupid fucking hobby.
I agree. I'm just not a fan of his preaching like he's been through the drug game. He is a good entrepreneur, entertainer, and probably person. However, the reality of his background is that he used to be a drug runner for someone that happened to buy drugs from the BMF network. Driving a duffle bag from point A to point B then getting paid for it is not a drug dealer or hustler. That job is most often given to females. Then on top of it he's gotten arrested with his wife a couple of times with user quantities of hard drugs. But I guess this could be said about most Gangster Rappers.
The problem is that American youth fall for the bullshit and get caught up in crimes at a young age trying to emulate TI and others.
Well in his situation I'm pretty sure he was also a drug addict. I don't think he's ever come off as a drug lord and he seems like an honest regular guy. If you hate TI what do you think about This
Lol! Half of the young men in county jail look like him (and Chief Keef (sp?)) and they all are fucked up from drinking that codine just like Lil Wayne. But hey, I guess I'm just not cool anymore.
Did anyone else notice that roland is totally fine with stealing erocks #theconsumer bit, but cries like a bitch when fans do the same to him. One more day, one more way to embarass himself
The Richter interview didn't make sense until the Steiner tie-in. Free signed shit requires the occasional shit plug. I would like to have seen all of their internal/external reactions to this one (especially Mr. Norton's). It seems like Jim views sports the same as Gurian - uninterested because he sucks at them. And before anyone says anything, just because you can do squats and pull-ups doesn't mean you can throw a ball. Similarly, cross-fit doesn't make you an athlete.
A buddy of mine who is super prison swoll, embarrassed himself at a street fest pitch/speed booth. Threw a baseball like he threw a punch! Being in shape has nothing to do with skill and talent.
I know he jumped on the bandwagon, but Anthony's analysis of the SCF was pretty spot on. The Kings win by wearing the other team down, by being aggressive and out-checking the other team. Their style of play grinds the speedy style the Rangers play, to a halt.
I'm hoping for wrestling talk today, possibly an apology from the WWE for calling Obama a "sissy" and a "girly man" last night (depending on whether sissy constitutes as a homophobic slur this week). link. Also, dat ass.
Yeah totally, love how completely fucking inappropriate that whole angle is getting. That combined with Layla getting a milky beatdown reminiscent of an attitude era catfight, it was a pretty edgy show and hopefully a sign of trashier things to come.
I think they did at least an hour's worth of apologies yesterday. I played yesterday's show from youtube while I was going to bed last night and they covered 5 different apologies for their "apology clock segment." Needless to say, I went out like a light.

Tapping out again. Opie sure does have a thin skin for someone that has based their entire radio career on dishing out trashings and criticism.
21 JMueller2012 2014-06-10
Opie is a 12 year-old premenstral female trapped within a 62 year-old strawberry-blonde haired Long Island idiot's body, that's why
23 dochattan 2014-06-10
Another morning of Opie bitching about haters. Remember, he doesn't care and they don't get to him.

Reset the opie bitch clock.

I'd bother him with a chainsaw instead
4 yourcommentblewdad 2014-06-10

Check out the razor burn, maaaaaaaaan.

You'd think the Opester would be a member of dollar shave club but I thought I overheard brotherman say the other day he's not.

I'm glad we've pinned the decades-long VA issues on undocumented immigrants, Chelsea Manning, and Obama. Good stuff.

I think the show is ending in October or whenever.

I don't mind #theconsumer at all. Erock is not in the same category as Roland.
14 LarryNozowitz 2014-06-10
I agree, at least E-Rock is trying to be entertaining. Roland is just a self entitled snob.
5 Ebhagz 2014-06-10
Yeah I always love hearing Erock
3 yourcommentblewdad 2014-06-10
Tapping out now. That's all I can take.
3 dianakurlan2 2014-06-10
Love Erock segments. He's so sincere.
14 xxcandybuttsxx 2014-06-10
Several comments on Opie's Instagram complaining about the term "near miss" = "what is WRONG with people today?"
10 hours of bitching about public apologies across several weeks = great radio.
Fuck you, Opie.

so far the show today has been boring as fuck. jesus shit. this hockey break is fucking torture.
3 Motorboat_Jones 2014-06-10
The Richter interview was the only part of the show that was worth hearing. The boys are really mailing it in a lot more lately.

8 MrFMF 2014-06-10
the irony of Anthony hating someone talking about the same stuff over and over again.
7 TankRizzo 2014-06-10
Thank god Steiner wasn't there to hawk his dirt. They let that guy go on for WAY too fucking long when he's in.
2 cajunjack55 2014-06-10
Yeah but I heard he was going to tell a great story about Mariano Rivera's first glove..oh well, maybe next time..
3 Theropissed 2014-06-10
Meanwhile the people complaining about America being consumers have white glove treatments.
Everyone is a consumer anyway, it's basic economics.
3 drexler57346 2014-06-10
I actually enjoyed the Richter interview, it was nice hearing somebody with passion about his (ex)profession. I like hockey though.

It's DJ WooKid (50 cents DJ) and rapper TI. I don't care for either of them but the masses do. Still a douche hobby though.
1 Ebhagz 2014-06-10
lol c'mon son as far as rappers go TI is really hilarious and cool it's not like he's Lil Wayne acting like a crackhead

Is there any segment worth listening to today? If it's just Opie bitching and music breaks I won't even bother.

They talked about Hildawg, best part of the show.
