O&A is starting to mimic the Stern show's decline

I started listening to O&A a couple years ago after the Howard Stern show jumped the shark. First, it was no fridays. Then, it was 3 days a week. Then, we had Hampton's Howie and AGT Howie. That did it for me. I switched to O&A and never looked back, it was the superior show.

The advantage O&A had over Howard was that they were edgier, did more shows, had funnier guests, and it was just an all around great vibe.

Since January, a lot of the aspects that attracted people to O&A are fading quickly.

  1. They can no longer do edgy bits. In fact, Stern bits are now 10x edgier than what O&A do, even in his 1 show a week, twice a year, AGT Howie mode. These are the guys who are legendary for their on-air pranks, and now we are rejoicing for days when E-Rock flips a cake? Come on.

  2. Comedian "hangs" are rare. Louie appearances have turned into formal interviews. Patrice is gone. Jim Jefferies, Bill Burr, and Colin Quinn are occasional phoners at best.

  3. Too much complaining about SiriusXM and contracts. Complete mirror image of Stern's rants before he jumped the shark. Verbatim down to the letter even with Opie claiming he won't be signing again. Prepare for the dog and pony show when they "surprise, surprise", sign for another term.

  4. Boring talk. Whether it's cats, food, stuff about Opie's son, traffic, or apologies, it's irrelevant to almost the entire audience and has zero entertainment value. Coasting.

  5. Opie's claim they won't be doing Friday's at the end of today's show.

  6. The energy of the show is gone. They sound tired, exhausted, angry, and irritable. Look at the best shows of the last year, and none of them stand a chance to an "average" show from a few years back.

  7. Lack of characters. There hasn't been a good Chip, Edgar, or Uncle Paul impression in a few months now.

That's what I got off the top of my head right now but there are a lot more. Feel free to add some
